I had a D&C on sept 5th and my first period after that was October 25th. I know that your cycle length can change after the D&C so I have no idea when to expect my next period. This is very frustrating not knowing what is going on in my body. So it's been 35 days since my last period, but before the procedure I had 39 day cycles. My question is, ever since March and getting off the pill I have kept track of periods, cycle length, spotting, ect. Now, when I was pregnant I had spotting about two weeks after my period. Well, I had spotting two weeks after this past period... So I'm wondering if maybe it is a pattern, or just coincidence? It's of course still a bit early to take a test as if I have missed a period I've only missed maybe a day or so.. Thoughts on that?

    I'm confused as to what you are asking.  Were you trying this cycle and are you asking when to test?  None of us will know that so just take a test every few days if that's what you're wondering.  If you're asking if spotting is normal in cycles after a m/c I have had spotting in cycles after CPs and my D&C but if you're concerned about it you might want to call your doctor.

    IVF #1 with ICSI & PGS: May/June 2015, ER 6/3/15, 17R/17M/15F
    IVF #2 with ICSI & PGS: July 2015, ER 7/16/15, 16R/11M/9F
    PGS results = 6 normal embryos (4 boys, 2 girls)
    FET 9/23/15 = BFFN
    Natural FET 11/4/15 = BFP!
    Beta 9dp5dt = 92

    thank you for the responses. I was asking if the spotting with my last pregnancy was a pattern with the spotting with this cycle, and maybe I am pregnant again.

    I'm sorry for your loss. Changes in your cycle are very normal after a d&c. There is really no way for anyone to tell you what could be causing your spotting. It could just be your body still sorting itself out.  I would continue to keep track and see if it happens again next month, or test at the end of this cycle.

    I'm very sorry. I'm new to this board and going through a very frustrating time right now so I wasn't paying that much attention.

    The others have covered the obvious. I am sorry for your loss. Please feel free to lurk a bit and get a feel for the community. We are a group of strong survivors of a horribly common occurance. We are also fiercely protective of each other. You are welcome to join us and learn from the experience here.

    I would get on fertilityfriend.com and open a free account. Learn about charting and temping so you know what is going on with your body.

    Welcome and so sorry for your loss.  As others have said, this is an awesome supportive community, but please read the blog!   (((hugs)))

    Me 34 DH 31, Together since 2003, Married August 20, 2011,  TTC since May 2013
    BFP #1 August 24, 2013! MMC discovered Oct. 3, 2013, D&C Oct. 4, 2013
    BFP #2 December 17, 2013! MMC discovered Jan. 28, 2014, D&C Jan. 30, 2014
    Testing done: male with complete Trisomy 16, not hereditary. Tested me for clotting disorders, all normal.
    Feb. 2014 all clear again to TTC!  Will start progesterone supplementation with the next BFP just in case.       Oct. 2014 more testing just because, thyroid and autoimmune panels = normal.  Diagnostic U/S = no abnormalities.  Will keep trying for 3-6 more months, doctor still optimistic!

    BFP #3 December 11, 2014!  Beta #1 14DPO = 122.4 Beta #2 17DPO = 296.8 Please stick little one and be our Rainbow!

            Perfect little heartbeat of 156 seen 1/7/15 :)
