Cautious but happy intro...

Hello ladies!

After a stint at being away from the boards, I am happy to say I have made the jump to be here. I took some time trying to relax, destress, getting acupuncture - basically trying to stop obsessing about TTC. I missed the TTCaL ladies and the wonderful coummunity they built...thank you so much for your love, help, and support while I was there. I'm excited to join my graduated 'Novemeber Angels' ladies here as well.

As for this journey, DH and I are cautious but thrilled. DH is more worried than me b/c we got his SA back at the beginning of this past cycle that showed some abnormal morphology. I pointed out to him that of his 300 million swimmers, 6.4% were still normal. And after some dilligent DR Google research, I read that the abnormals usually don't make it that far. His doc ordered a second SA, so we are awaiting those results, ha! I am so surprised this cycle was the one, because I was also sick the fertile week. I think with all the destressing, being sick, DH's issues, we weren't so focused/presured this cycle...who knows??

We got a faint BFP on the EDD of our previous loss, Thanksgiving Day. I'm usually not one for seeing signs in things, but wow! We went on a preplanned road trip to Big Sur on the California coast, and those beautiful surroundings helped with the sadness of the day as well as the happiness of our future.

I'm looking forward to getting to know the ladies here and being an active memeber again!

Welcome and congrats! I'm so glad you posted DH's SA results with the doctor's comments. DH was sick during my fertile window and this bean was conceived with 4 day old sperm. I was a little freaked out about that. Your post is reassuring.

@DenaMaree @hmr110913 @littlecookie and @Feegan I'm super excited to join you guys! Been thinking about you all during my board break.

@DenaMaree I called my OB today and she said since I didn't have any hormone issues last time and we don't know why I miscarried, that they are treating this pregnancy like any other. So no betas...not sure if I should push for it. They also couldn't get me in for a 1st ultrasound til after the Christmas holidays.

I'm leaving for my parents house in FL on the 18th which is at almost 7 weeks, but she seemed ok waiting til I get back. That's not until Jan 5 at 9 1/2 weeks, ARGGGGH!! So now thinking I need to call back and get on a wait list in case anyone cancels. Then again, my Negative Nellie side thinks that's better in case something is wrong, don't want to ruin the holidays. Oh my goodness, I need to embrace the positive here!!
