Rings?

I am still wearing my wedding rings, but I am wondering if I should/suppose to take them off now. Has anyone taken their rings off yet?

You only have to take them off if they get too tight. Mine are off most of the time but that's because I never stopped swelling after I had DS.

Still wearing mine just fine. I check every day as a way to see if I'm having any swelling

I took mine off around this time with DD but she was born in August. Since we live in Florida I swelled a lot more with her. My rings still fit and are easy to get on and off. I will leave them on until they get harder to take off. My SIL has never had to take hers off with her 2 kids and she is about to give birth to her 3rd any day now. She is still wearing her rings. If you are one of these fortunate ones I would take it off before you go to the hospital though. They will make you take all your jewelry off, at least mine did. So I would want my jewelry to be safe at home.

While we were on vacation in Orlando, I wore it on a chain because of the humidity I was a lot more swollen. But when I got home I was fine. I'm getting closer to not being able to wear them though

Thanks!! 30 weeks tomorrow and they are getting a little snug. (Time is flying!!!). I can't get them off right now, so I will try to get them off later.

Mine are still on. I swell sometimes, but mostly after a lot of activity or because I haven't had enough water that day.

I'm not married, but I wear a ring my DBF made me on my middle finger. It's getting harder to take off so I suppose I might have to take it off soon.

I still wear mine but they're snug. I take them off at night because I found they were tightest in the morning.

I usually take mine off in the evening since they're most snug at the end of the day. I'm hoping to wear them as long as possible but will probably end up putting them on a chain in a few weeks.

Mine are off around the house now, but I wear them when I go out because I feel naked without them. I don't have really any swelling yet though. Key word: YET.

Mine are stuck on my finger. I didn't take them off in time I have tried soapy water and they won't come off.

I've always taken mine off for bed, no change in how hard it is to take off. Once it starts getting harder ill probably leave them off.

With my son, I was able to keep them until the last few days. This time, I have had to take them off a few times for some swelling but they have made it back on. I make sure to check them once or twice a day to make sure they aren't getting too snug.

Mine are probably being locked up this week. They are starting to get too tight and I had a bad dream about them getting stuck. I will be 31w on Wednesday. Made it further than I thought!

Mine started getting too snug for comfort this weekend. Put them on a pretty chain yesterday. It looks nice! Right now they're on a delicate white gold chain though and I'm really really paranoid about the chain breaking (and losing them) so today I want to go to target and find something cheap and strong.

Took mine off about a week ago when my hands started swelling & my Dr. warned me that she's had to cut more than a few off (the rings, not the fingers :P ).  I wear my rings on a chain but it still feels so weird not having them on my hand.

I don't think my hands are swelling, but I have my rings stuck on right now.  I might need to drink some more water or put something on my hands to lube them off.  I hate to take them off too since I am so use to wearing them.

Had to take my wedding band and engagement ring off in the middle of the night Thursday night. The ring I wear on my right hand is still doing ok, and I could probably get my wedding band back on for awhile.

Mine are still on and at least for the time being seem fine. I try to check every few days or so.

Mine are still on with little to no swelling. I had them off probably a month with my last pregnancy. I don't put them on a chain though as I'm too afraid I'll lose them. Once I take them off, they go to the safe.

Mine are still on! I take my engagement ring off at night and it comes off easily. No swelling in my hands or feet yet.

It's so weird you asked this question. Just this morning my DH asked to lotion his back & I took my rings off. I had a hard time for the first time this whole pregnancy. I think I'm close to leaving them off full time

Mine still fit . I take them off at night and haven't had trouble yet. I didn't swell much with DS, so I'm hoping this time will be the same.

I've been taking them off before bed cos I'm swollen in the mornings and most days I just wear my wedding band. I have engraving done on the inside of my engagement ring and DH had it made for me so I think I'd lose my mind if I had to have it cut off. My band, although very important to me as well, can be replaced much easier so I'd rather chance that one getting cut off. I feel so naked without my rings so I'm hoping I don't have to completely chain mine before this little guy is born.

I've been looking into those QALO rings, too. DH and I would definitely benefit from them with our lifestyle. So it could be a win-win in the long run.

Mine still fit fine, but I wonder if it's because first tri took a toll on me to the point they were falling off. Every now and then they get a little snug, but it reminds me of when I just get a little bloated.

Agree. And you totally don't need an excuse. Big, gaudy rings are fun.

I've still got mine on. No swelling in hands yet. What scares me is that when my mom was pregnant with my sis due to her hormonal shots her hands swelled overnight. No joke she woke up and her finger was purple I ever we had to rush her to the doc where they cut her rings off. She was so sad. My dads in the Jewelery business so he surprised her a couples years later with a whole new setting ( she never had her old rings fixed). I might take them off of my fingers start to swell but I had my dad size my wedding ring a size up to begin with (it's an eternity setting that can't ever be resized ) also had him size my engagement ring up when we found out I was pregnant.

I have good days and bad days. On the days they don't fit I wear a pretty fake ring with a hug emerald cut diamond. I'm amazed at how many people have complimented me on it and think it's real. I feel naked without a ring since I usually wear three: engagement, wedding, anniversary.

I had to take off all my rings except my engagement ring, it's the only one that still fits and I can take it off easily. I feel naked without them

My wedding band is smaller then my engagement ring. As of now I'm only wearing my engagement ring.

I can still wear mine but will probably start wearing it on my necklace my hubs gave to me on our 6month anniversary closer to our due date.

Ha, my rings have been off for over a month. They were starting to hurt and almost had to get them cut off. Finally with the help of plastic wrap and cooking spray/ dish soap I got them off. Now they live on a necklace.

I never took them off with DS. I don't foresee having to this time either.

I haven't worn mine since I gave birth to Ella. They really irritate the excema on my fingers, which is worse this colder time of year. And then in the summer, I am always swollen from the FL humidity. Also, I found myself scratching Ella with my big rock of an engagement ring so I just never wore it once she was born.
