Sick baby and flying

im supposed to fly home in about3 hours. Lo has been sick - he can't seem to keep much down and he's coughing and congested. Not sure what I should do. I'm waiting for a nurse to call me back. Anyone travelled with a sick baby before? Should I try to stay another day?

No advice, but I'm sorry A is sick. How long is the flight? Is it direct?

@shellbell3845‌ it's about an hour and a half and yes, it's direct. Just worried about delays and if his ears will hurt or he'll throw up on the plane.

@TyrannosaurusLex‌ the Motrin says 1.25 ml for babies 12-17 lbs. is that the same dosage you have? It is 50 ml per 1.25.

I'm sorry DJ. We flew with W being sick back in August, and we had connections and long drives and huge airports. It sucked, but between the two of us, we managed. She screamed during one of the 1.5 hour flights, but other passengers were pretty understanding and it was clear we were doing everything we could to help.

If I were in your shoes I'd probably power through. You'll both probably feel better once you're in your own home!
