Birthday girl!!

We didn't have an exciting bday because we're all still sick, but here is a pic in her pretty dress. She actually slept with me the past 2 nights because she felt so miserable and didn't want to be alone. I'm not complaining, it actually felt pretty amazing snuggling up with my bunny as I remembered bringing her into this world. We are having her "party" on Monday so I'll hopefully get some better pics then. OMG I have a 1 year old!!!

Here is a picture from her party. She loved her cake! She is feeling much better now and my husband and I are finally improving. I made a pumpkin cake completely from scratch and it really turned out well.

Thanks Geeps! So have you experienced any baby fever? I have to say it hit me pretty hard and I really wasn't expecting it. I had a drs appt the other day to discuss my birth control options and I actually started crying in the waiting area. Hormones. Gahhhh.

Ohhh Guennie I have had baby fever since the moment my little one literally shot out of me lol.  The crazy part is when my hubs and I discussed having kids we both agreed to 2.  I was totally ok with it and I swear something happened the moment my son was born and I felt like our family wouldn't be complete until we had a 3rd.  I can't tell you why and I still feel this way.  My hubs is done and I won't even bother trying to talk him into it.  If I were to get pregnant again he wouldn't be upset but it isn't in the plans for us.  I packed up my maternity clothes a while back and broke down.  I can't bear to get rid of stuff yet either.  It's really bad.  I know I should be thankful that I was able to have 2 healthy wonderful children but there is something screaming inside of me that 3 would be the final number.  It sucks!!!!

Geeps, I suddenly feel closer to you.

I really wanted two kids but after all the losses and then the horribly difficult pregnancy, delivery and recovery...well going through that again scares the crap out of me. It scares my husband too. So we decided this is it. I was so happy to have my one miracle baby, I didn't expect to suddenly feel this way. But part of me feels almost desperately sad.

I've held on to everything too. "Just in case." I know it isn't rational but I can't seem to let go. I hope it will get easier.
