Oh Gawd, you guys. I never thought about this happening, so I had to let you know. I feel like the worst mom ever.

We spent this last week at my in-laws house in Detroit. On Thanksgiving night, we were eating dessert and watching football with the family. Greyson was on the other side of the room when we heard a horrible crash and he starting SCREAMING. He had pulled the cord on their Scentsy warmer. The whole thing had crashed down on his face. He was covered in wax. He could barely open his eyes. It was a NIGHTMARE. His poor cheek burned where the glass hit him. It took two days to get the wax off. His eyelashes were the worst. :(

I keep replaying it over and over in my head. I CANNOT believe I didn't notice that stupid burner. I'm so sad this happened to my baby.

The first photo was right after it happened. All the redness under his eyes went away within 30 minutes or so. Luckily the wax cooled really quickly. He was a trooper though and only cried a couple minutes.

(and yes, he still has a bottle. And yes, he's drinking in the tub. I let him do whatever he wanted that night)

So watch those cords. :(
