9 month old tantrums ?! Help!!

My son will be 9 months in a couple weeks so I'm sneaking over here 
anyway I've been noticing now my son is definitely showing his personality more and more the older he gets. He's a funny little guy, cautious when it comes to meeting new people but very brave when it comes to pulling himself up and moving around. BUT I've also noticed when he doesn't get his way, such as grabbing my phone and me taking it, he will scream at the top of his lungs and wave his arms. I get a bit anxious when he does this, I really don't know how I should respond? Anyone else having issues like this?
