Bigelow Lemon Ginger Tea

Hi ladies!

I just bought some Lemon Ginger tea to combat nausea. Do you think it's okay? It's caffeine-free.

Thanks!!

Re: Bigelow Lemon Ginger Tea

  • Thank goodness!!! It's pretty much the only thing that helps. I can't find ginger candies anywhere nearby.

  • I bought Traditional Medicines Ginger Aid tea & cuz I'm nuts brought the box to my RE & asked them to read the ingredients before I drank any--I was really happy to get their thumbs up & it totally helps!
  • I drink Ginger tea to help w my MS. Dr said it is fine. :-)
  • What are the ingredients? I got a lemon ginger tea and one of the ingredients was lemongrass which is not good for you/baby during pregnancy. Bummer because I liked the tea. I may ask the nurse if it is ok in moderation...

  • The ingredients in the Ginger Aid are: organic ginger rhizome
    organic blackberry leaf
    organic stevia leaf
    organic lemon myrtle leaf

I had heard lemongrass wasn't good while pregnant & I wanted them to check it out b/c idk what "lemon myrtle leaf" is. I don't drink it all day, maybe once or twice but it is a good alternative to ginger ale (got enough bloat w/out carbonation lol). I also take ginger snap cookies everywhere and break off small pieces to calm sudden attacks of nausea (while driving or in public).
    Good luck ladies!
