Thoughts and prayers **upadate**

so my mom has a massive infection in her large intestine and has been hospitalized since Monday. Well this morning I got a call that she's being taken to emergency surgery. Her bowel has ruptured. I'm in the OR waiting. Trying to bump to keep my mind busy. Thoughts prayers and good vibes needed

Update: she's out of surgery. She was in bad shape. She had an abcess in her intestine and it was bad enough that it was fused to her appendix and an ovary and they had to remove them as well. She's doing ok but know she has to fight the infection and in a weak state. I'm still nervous

@huckleberry08‌ I'm lucky to live only a 10 min drive away. I will be spending most of the night with her tonight and be here often until she's finally out. Thank god DH is on work holiday until Tuesday and I don't have to worry about DD

Praying for a quick recovery!

She's doing well physically not so well emotionally. Taking 2-3 months recovery with an in home nurse. She's only 55, is still raising my teenage sister and my brothers son. She's most likely going to lose her job so on top of everything else she's got this to worry about. I'm gonna find out if the antibiotics are finally working today. So if they are and she listens to the docs about what to do when she goes home she should have a full recovery
