WW girls I need food ideas and a question

I need good quick easy ideas for all meals and snacks, and if you have lost weight on WW how long did it take. I heard a pound a week for nursing moms, are you kidding me that is like six months for the 25 pounds I want to loose is it really this slow?

  • When I really followed it, I would snack on popcorn and cucmbers and celery.

For meals, I would eat their meals or grill some chicken or meat and have it over a salad.

  • I just bought the quick and easy cookbook, and everything looks so good.  I am going to make one of the meals tonight to see how it goes.

It may be slow, but with ww, it is not about loosing weight fast, it's about making a life choice and being healthy.

  • For snacks, I like Fiber One bars, 100 calorie packs of popcorn, Tricuits or carrots and hummus, carrots and Trader joes black bean dip, fruit and vegetables

For meals, the e-mails have really good recipe ideas as do the WW cookbooks.  Off the top of my head, some good ones are Tex Mex Rice and Bean Casserole, Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Broccoli Cheese Soup, Cheese Enchiladas, Shrimp Mojo

The Hungry Girl blog has really good recipes for snacks, drinks, etc.  I saw she has a cookbook out yet that I want to buy but haven't done it yet.

I lost all 27 lbs while BFing and it took about 6 months.

  • I can't help with food ideas.  I just ate what I normally ate and watched the portions.  I was on the nursing moms program for WW and the weight came off SLOW, but it came off.  From my highest weight at 39w pg, I had 60 lbs. to lose (obviously, 8lbs. was baby, plus water weight, etc. so it was really less) but it was gone at 5m PP.  The key is to just stick with it and not get discouraged by the gradual weight loss.  I even gained some weeks, but it did come off over time.

    Good luck!
