Thanksgiving set up

I know this is not a kid question but I was just curious, How many of you have a Thanksgiving where everyone sits down and eats at the same time? Our house is really small and my husband likes us to host his large family and the kids have to eat first and the adults wait. Some of the family even eats sitting on the couch which I am not a fan of. Just wondering if this happens in a lot of homes, I always ate somewhere where we put up extra pop up tables,etc. so everyone can eat a meal together. We just don't even have room to do that.
