This is my first post of any sort on a forum.... today is 8dp5dt for me and I'm really feeling down. Did a Hpt this morning and it's a BFN. Feeling back to my normal self so really have no hope that this has worked.
Tomorrow I go for my first BETA... 90% sure it will be a waste of time

Anyone in a similar situation and still end up being pregnant?

Hey girl, I am in the same boat, I feel pregnant. I went in and had my blood work done beta was a 5 so I have to retest on Monday to see, and my alkaline phosphate levels were elevated which I guess is normal in pregnancy, I'm hoping I am but we shall see. I've been trying for 3 years now. I hope you get a positive beta! But keep positive

@ShellsBells777‌ - Check out the Infertility, Trouble Trying to Conceive and Pregnant After IF boards. There are many more women there who have gone through or are going through IVF. Even if you just want to lurk, lots of people keep a history of their treatments in their signatures.

Unfortunately, I don't have anything positive to share. On my first IVF cycle I also had a BFN on 8dp5dt and the beta was negative. On my successful cycle, the hpt was positive by 5dp5dt.

However, that's how it happened for ME. Every body and ever pregnancy is different. You just never know until beta day. Good luck to you!
