I appreciate your hopeful words, I have discussed with my doctor and I've tried the basics but sometimes you have ppl tell you things your doctors wouldn't dare lol but thank you so much I'm new here and it's nice to have ppl to talk to!
I have stage 3 Endo, bordering on stage 4. I have bilateral endometriomas on both of my ovaries which causes them to stick together as well as some Endo on my bladder and tubes. I've had 2 laproscopic surgeries to separate my ovaries and remove and drain the endometriomas. The next step for me was IVF, but I successfully got pregnant after my last surgery. @Maybebaby23 are you seeing a RE?
I have/had Stage 2 endometriosis. After surgery, we tried on our own for another 5-6 months and it didn't happen. It took two IVF cycles for me to get pregnant, but I've been having a very easy pregnancy with a healthy baby so far.
The thing with endo is that it affects everyone so differently. You may have no trouble at all with stage 4 endo while something with stage 1 could struggle with infertility. It just depends so much on the individual, but there are definitely options to help if you need it.
How long have you been trying? When did you last have surgery? I agree with TeeJ that it's a good idea to see an RE. The typical recommendation is to try for a year (unless you're over 35), but with a diagnosis that has the potential to cause infertility, I would probably go for a consultation at 6 months and see what a doctor has to say.
I have been trying for over three years but just found out last year I had endometriosis.. I just had my second surgery in May we are actively trying again I'm 8dpo ... We have yet to see a specialist about IVF but it looks like we will be doing that after the Newyear thank you everyone for responding I really don't have anyone to talk to about it:) this place has definitely gave me a lot of comfort in knowing I'm definitely not alone
