Ok I out DS in a new daycare when I went back to work at the beginning of November. In October I signed a contract stating the rate was 178/week. Today I go to pay for the month of November and I say it's should be xxx. She says she's getting a higher number. Says the rates 192/week. I express to her that I was never made aware of a raise in rates. She isn't sure which rate I'm going yo have to pay. I know it's not a huge difference. But we chose this place because of price. There are plenty of day cares a lot closer to my work that charge about 190/w. I'm considering pulling out if they tell me I have to pay the 192. Would you keep him there even if they changed the rates without telling you.

I don't deal with daycare but I wouldn't change for that reason alone if you like the center. But since there are places closer to your house that charge the same amount then i would consider it. Hopefully you have a copy of the contract.
