I really want to find a pair of good-quality, flattering jeans with nice back pockets. I'm tired of jeans that don't fit well. Problem is, I have no idea where to look. At this point in my life I'm willing to pay a little more for something that will really look good, even if that means considering designer jeans. Anyone have any recommendations for brands/stores to look at? Links are even better! Help a girl out!

Pilcro serif legging jean at anthro. Great fit, super fashion forward. Also J Brand is amazing fit for those w a feminine figure (like me). But jeans are one of those things to try on; go to a good store - a Nordstrom at minimum - and ask for help on fit from sales ladies. You'll be glad you did. Like a bra fitting it'll make you feel like a whole new you.

I think Hudson jeans are my favorite. They're always made with this really soft denim...I have one pair that I've had for so long that they're all ripped up, but I still wear them because they're so comfortable.

I like Joes and Sevens and Mavis. Don't pay full price! Nordstrom Rack is great!!

I did just get a pair of Sevens from Lane Bryant-- my jeans have been feeling tight (probably because I'm pregnant, but I didn't know that when I ordered them). I got the smallest size and they are enormous. I will be returning them and going to Motherhood instead.

Nordstrom Rack has a great selection of designer jeans. I love jeans! They are my addiction! My favorite are j-brand. They are about $178 but at the Rack you can find them for about $99. These are a few more front runners: citizens of humanity, sevens, Paige denim, and Joe's.
I love j-brand because they fit amazingly and the pockets are blank (I prefer not to have rhinestones all over my ass).
ETA Hudsons are great too but they tend to run large and stretch a lot. So as long as they aren't incredibly tight I recommend going down a size.
I used to sell designer jeans at Nordstrom and can answer any question regarding the type of fit the brand has. For instance True Religion uses a lot of elastic and tend to be super low cut.

So it sounds like Nordstrom Rack is the place to go. I never would have thought to look there. I may try to venture over there sometime soon. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone!
