@ashris13 11/19 Girl - Congratulations on baby Ellie's arrival! Thank you for running the check-in and doing such a great job
Thanks for taking over! No problem on the personalization - it takes a surprising amount of time. I don't mind if you don't do it!
All well here, though yesterday sucked.
I went to the OB yesterday because my little guy didn't want to party. He's been rocking out since week 17, but he decided to snooze all day and night and had me a bit freaked. I had a non-stress test at 11am yesterday to check on him - he's fine, I have been having "non-productive" contractions, which they are again telling me means I have an "irritable uterus". They aren't concerned, but said considering he's already dropped into position at 33w and all my contractions, I should be prepared for the possibility of having him on the early side. As long as it's after Christmas, that's fine with me.
We have an appointment next Thursday, and we get a 3D ultrasound! Soooo excited! Then we go to weekly appointments. It's getting soooo close!
Feeling fine, but now DH is all worried from my OB visit. I guess he'll be doing the cooking and cleaning tomorrow and I will be resting on the couch!
QOTW: Just DH and me. I told him to collect some strays from his office - people who don't have plans and are not traveling - so we may have a few people. We were expecting my inlaws but they cancelled so we have a 17 lb bird for just the two of us - more the merrier!
My EDD is SATURDAY! AH! Hoping this little one decides to show up over the holiday weekend. If not we have an induction scheduled for the evening of 12/3. My OB thinks she will show up on her own before then based on the progress I have made so far!
Today is my last day of work! I cannot wait to meet this little one! This wait at the end is brutal!
QOTW: We are going out to eat. All of our family is out of town and they are waiting to come visit until after she gets here so we are just going to hang out, watch football, and let someone else do the cooking! (unless of course we are at the hospital).
@mdiblasi10 thanks for taking over the check ins!!!
How far along are you? 35 wks 1 day
Upcoming appointments? I have my first weekly appointment on
Monday and we’re going to start cervical checks.
Any updates to share? Last night was my last birthing/childcare
class! The whole breastfeeding thing
still makes me nervous. I've realized I’m going to continue to feel this way
until I have LO in my arms and I try it out. I’m mentally and physically
prepared to BF and I’m prepared to FF. Hopefully my body will cooperate!
How are you feeling? Can’t sleep, out of breath, constant
heartburn, and my belly is very itchy. I’m very uncomfortable but who isn’t in
the 3rd trimester :P
QOTW: Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving, tell us about your
Thanksgiving (and weekend) plans. Going over the ILs tomorrow to stuff myself.
DH works retail so he will be working 1am until 10am on Black Friday. Once he’s
home and in bed I plan on shopping with my mom and sisters. I’m hoping to get
most if not all of my shopping done! Saturday DH and I pick up our Christmas
tree and bust out the Christmas decorations I’m so excited!! Sunday is the
start of advent. I LOVE when we get to sing traditional Christmas hymns at
church
January 2014:BFP!!!! Ectopic pregnancy ruptured at 6wks1day. Left Fallopian tube removed. Noted during surgery the right Fallopian tube is severely damaged from 2004 ectopic pregnancy.
April 8 2014: IVF#1 w/ISCI: 10 received, 5 mature, 3 fertilized. Day 3 transfer of all three embies.
April 22, 2014: BFP! beta #1: 80 beta #2: 211 One nugget!
Hello! Can I please be added to the check-in? I'm 28w1d, due 2/17 and we are Team Green.
I'm so excited to have reached 3rd tri! It's very surreal to have reached this point looking back on everything.
I have an OB appt on Monday. I failed my 1 hour glucose test and need to make time to have my 3 hour test done. I'm planning to go either Saturday or Monday/Tuesday. I'm still on night shift, which makes scheduling this tough.
I have my first shower this Sunday! this one is with my mom and my side of the family. My in-laws and friends shower is a week from Saturday! I can't wait to see everyone!
QOTW: We are heading to thanksgiving with the in-laws in the morning and then we are driving to PA to spend the evening with my family. I thought I was going to get out of cooking, but DH wants his own bird. I plan to make it on Saturday.. Which is why I'm not sure I can handle the glucose test on top of that.

southernyankeegirl- sorry your appointment was rough. I get an NST every time I go now and some times she's super active, and some times she's asleep and it scares the crap out of us.
How far along are you? 39 weeks tomorrow!
Upcoming appointments? Monday weekly check up and weekly NST
Any updates to share? Mucous plug broke this AM when I woke up! Feeling lots of electrical shocks down my inner legs- dr says it's the babys spine knocking against mine and it's totally normal. Just trying to bid my time!
How are you feeling? Rough, but grateful that I have a job where I can work from home and just enjoy down time when I'm not working. Lots of people have been just stopping by lately, so it's been really nice.
QOTW: Eating out with all the family on Thanksgiving and resting up with the DH all weekend and enjoying the snow from inside!

@mdiblasi10 thanks for taking over check ins! Don't feel obligated to do personalized check ins, I know it must take a lot of time!
I'm 33 weeks this week! Only 5 weeks (max) left. That is so crazy!
No updates really. BH are about the same, but pretty intense. I'm having to breath through them, but still not painful. (And not productive because I've been having cervical checks for the last few apts and nothing has happened yet, thankfully) I have an apt next Friday. I'm pretty sure that ill start weekly visits after that.
Im feeling the same, uncomfortable...not sleeping great, but I'm sure you all are feeling the same!
QOTD: Tomorrow will be bitter sweet, it will be the first time we aren't with our families on thanksgiving. I plan on watching the Macy's parade and maybe cook a big breakfast (or maybe breakfast for supper). My sister and her kids are coming Friday to bake cookies and help put up the tree and Christmas decor. I am excited about getting to spend time with them! Plus my sister is bringing me some left overs from our Granny's house! =P~
I'll be 31 weeks on Friday. I am feeling great and I'm very thankful for that. My emotions can be a bit crazy, but physically I'm good. I can never get enough of feeling her move! It's this special connection that just she and I have and I think it's just so cool. Even this second time around, I am in awe of it all I now have OB appointments every two weeks so I go back the 5th. My BP crept up last time toward the end and had me doing NST's at the hospital, so I am keeping up my exercise and watching my diet closely to hopefully avoid that again. Funny thing was my BP's were always normal at monitoring and at home.
QOTW: we are hosting both sets of parents and my BIL, with everyone pitching in on the cooking. I'm looking forward to DH's smoked ribs and our deep fried turkey. And four and a half days off - so nice! We also have out maternity photos on Sunday. They mean a lot to me so I'm really looking forward to them.
Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! I know we must all be feeling extra thankful this year.
Everything is still going pretty well so far. I had some issues over the weekend that I won't describe in detail, but it led to a physical exam on Monday which sucked. I didn't think I could ever be bothered by a pelvic exam again but this was so uncomfortable. Probably because my cervix is still really high (which is a good sign). Since they couldn't actually see it, they can't confirm that it's still completely closed. They did a fetal fibronectin test to see if I'm at risk for preterm labor, but I won't hear anything until Monday at this point. I'm not super concerned though.
In other fun news, we made some more progress on the nursery. The rug has been placed and all of the furniture is where it belongs. Because of my weekend worries, I went ahead and washed all of the baby's clothes and have completely prepped the cloth diapers (I must have done about 10 loads of laundry in 48 hours). Baby boy still doesn't have a name, but at least he has some clothes to wear and a lovely room to sleep in!
QOTW: H and I will be spending Thanksgiving alone (with our pups). Our families live too far away and we just didn't want to deal with the stress of traveling right now. I'm sad that we can't be with them, but I'm also looking forward to having some time for just the two of us.
I'm 36 weeks today. It sounds so crazy to actually type that! I had an appointment today and LO is breech-ish. She is between being transverse and breech. More like diagonal, I guess. That would be why I feel like I have a head jabbing my lung! They will reassess it next week at my appointment and we'll make a plan then. I'm not up for doing anything medical to make her flip. I'd rather that nature take it's course and if she's gonna flip, she'll just do it. Otherwise, I'm all for a C-section and being done with this part!
During the u/s they estimated that her weight is around 6lb 9oz. I know this can be off in either direction, but it's neat to know that she is getting bigger! She had her little fingers in her mouth the entire time and it was so stinking adorable! I'm feeling really good, besides some anxiety. But, I only have 9 days of work left, so that makes me feel a little better!
ttc #2 since 2004 Me (35): Stage 3 Endo, DH (34): High DNA Frag
IVF/ICSI #2: April 2014: BFP!!!!!!
ET of 2 great quality embryos. + BFP on 9dp5dt. Beta #1 (10dp5dt): 257, Beta #2 (14dp5dt): 1561,
Beta #3 (21dp5d5): 8,172. Wow. It seems this is actually working. Shocked beyond belief.
1st u/s @6w5d: Baby A hb 124, Baby B hb 127 (Both measuring perfectly!)
Lost baby A. Praying that baby B stays healthy. Baby B hb 175 at 11 weeks
Thank you for taking over, @mdiblasi10! Great to read everyone's updates.
I am scheduled for a 39+1 induction this Sunday evening, as long as they have room. I think it's finally hitting me and I'm starting to slightly freak out. Had a growth scan this morning and says that baby is already over 8lbs. I know those things can be pretty inaccurate, but the MFM recommended inducing, so we're taking her advice. Also had my first cervix check at my OB this afternoon, and although she didn't give me a % or number dilated, she gave me a "bishop score" and told me that she feels confident I should be able to deliver vaginally. Fingers crossed.
As for Thanksgiving, it will just be DH and I (seems like there's quite a few of us doing this). My SIL who lives 90 minutes away invited us over for dinner, but my husband didn't feel comfortable going so far, especially since there is traffic about half the time. I hope to finish hanging art in the nursery tomorrow, and just being as productive as possible. This is the first time since we've been married that I will NOT be cooking. I made turkey meatballs tonight and I think we'll be having leftovers, lol.
Hope everyone has a great week. Looking forward to being a (hopefully) graduate by next week
Had an amnio check and non stress test and baby looks great. My next appointment is 40 weeks and 6 days (Tuesday). I can't believe I am so close to having a baby. It really is amazing.
QOTW- going over to some friends for Thanksgiving dinner. We declined all of our family invites not knowing about baby arrival time. I am happy to now to have some plans for the weekend. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Any updates to share? I missed my last appt with the doc but she wasn't worried - said I could just come in on the next one .. otherwise, today starts the work on the floors and hopefully by next weekend, we'll start putting the furniture together and what not. We had our shower last Saturday and it was a blast! We got a ton of stuff and not just clothes (which I worried about because I heard with girls, people tend to buy clothes more!). But we got most of our big ticket items and my dh still has his shower at his job in 2 weeks. Outside of the cloth diapers, we just have to buy a few decorative items and the bedding sheets. So happy with this outcome!
How are you feeling? Feeling very tired and achy this morning with like a mini headache! Don't know why .. but I better not be coming down with something!
QOTW: We spent T-Day with my dh's family. SIL lives like 5 mins away and felt it was too much of a hassle going to my parents and then his SIL's house on the same day, especially since I have to work today - bah!
I'm 30 weeks and 3 days with twin boys.
I have both OB and MFM appointments weekly. Last week I was diagnosed with pre-E due to a high amount of protein in my urine. My blood pressure is still in the moderate range and the babies are doing well so they are just letting me continue bedrest at home and checking my blood pressure several times a day. We expect the babies to come early but trying to get at least a couple more weeks in there!

Thanks for taking over the check-ins @mdiblasi10! And I agree with others, no worries on personalization as I imagine that takes tons of time.
How far along are you? 31+6
Upcoming appointments? I have my 32 week coming up this week
Any updates to share? Nothing too much happening other than Thanksgiving this week
How are you feeling? About the same - some days ok, other days lots of pain. Newest fun symptom is some heartburn/reflux - but not terrible
QOTW: Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving, tell us about your Thanksgiving (and weekend) plans. We drove to my in-laws yesterday morning and are here till Sunday. (we alternate years with each other's families since it is the only shared holiday). Yesterday was the big meal at DH's cousin's house. Today is low key, and tomorrow going to meet with some friends.
Hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving!
Team green turned team pink on 11/24 at 9:40am when we welcomed Miss Clara Grace to the world! She was born by RCS and weighed 8lbs 12oz, 20.5 inches long. We are both doing well and adjusting to life as a family of 4. Here are a few pictures...
Good luck to all you ladies in these final weeks!!
Upcoming appointments: I have twice weekly appointments now starting next Tuesday. I'll be going in every Tuesday and Friday until delivery now.
Any updates to share? I am showing possible early signs of pre-e. My bp was 130/99 at my appointment on Wednesday, so that's why I'm on twice weekly appointments now. I am really hoping that I just happened to have a bit of a high bp that day and I am not developing pre-e. At this point the babies will be fine if they have to be delivered, but I want them to keep cooking until at least 36 weeks!
How are you feeling? Pretty crappy. I'm just so tired and I want to get things done, but my body just wont let me. Its frustrating.
QOTW: We just moved into our new house on Wednesday and I'm on travel restrictions now so my parents came over to our new house and helped us pack/unpack a bit and my mom and brother (who surprised me and is on a week leave from his deployment!) made Thanksgiving lunch/dinner. It was so much fun!

Any updates to share? Everything looks great! My little one is head down and ready to go.
How are you feeling? Excited, overwhelmed and anxious. I can't believe that the baby can come at anytime. I spent today washing the last little things that needed to be washed, looking over the baby gear and trying to find things to keep me sitting down and busy. Ended up pulling out my bin of yarn and started knitting a blanket for my little one. Oh, and I'm starting to get uncomfortable - finally understanding how women say the last few weeks of pregnancy can be tough.
QOTW: Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving, tell us about your Thanksgiving (and weekend) plans. Hubby and I spent Thanksgiving with my folks and had a great meal. I treated myself to a pedicure today and I plan on spending the rest of the weekend relaxing. I want to take advantage of this down time and enjoy doing nothing.

Thanks for taking over @mdiblasi10. I joined last week so I was looking for a name tag, so I'm a little late to the party lol. EDD 02/03/15. Team pink
I am 30+3 weeks. Quite uncomfortable so I'm glad I'm not working as much these days. Had my OB consult, she gave me a 50-60% success on a VBAC. So not too bad. She personally doesn't like potential VBAC candidates to go past 40 weeks, so I might have to get induced if baby doesn't come on time. Especially with the history of large babies (with no GD) in my family, and with DD being 9.3lbs a week early I understand her point. I just really don't want another c-section, not when I potentially don't have as much help as I need. But I liked the OB, so did hubby, so that was a real positive thing. I mean I love my midwives to pieces, but heaven forbid something bad were to happen at least I like her. Oh and my blood pressure was on the higher side this week but I have had some very stressful things going on in my life. Trying hard to relax, take it easy.

super late check in over here. 40+3 and pretty much over this pregnancy thing. Being late makes me anxious, I'm more and more focused on movement, too much or lack there of. Every little pain makes me paranoid. I just want to hold my LO on the outside.
I have an appointment today but my midwives are pretty laid back and will let me go to 42 weeks. I have no labor signs, and no contractions to speak of. Hoping and praying I don't have to go that far.

@tilelady85 - one more old wives tale... my BIL gave his wife a massage on her feet/ankles - there is some pressure point that supposedly works... her water broke the next day. Granted she was 38 weeks so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone not at 40 weeks but since you are past that point Hope you get to meet your LO soon!!!
@tilelady85 - to add to what @Lady2010 said, this is what my doula explained to us! Message by the ankles or better yet a pedicure could just do the trick! Good luck!
Im late- sorry ladies. Im 35weeks. Next appt is Wednesday. Met with my fave OB last Wednesday- his retirement day- boo! Gonna miss him. He really just puts me at ease. Im measuring slightly big but nothing to be concerned about. He said he was confused as to why the other doctor was so rude and misleading, that everything is fine, and keep up the good work. Whew! I am feeling exhausted! I was hoping to work through new years but I dont think that is happening. Maybe Dec 19th will be my last night, Im beat.
QOTW: Busy and wonderful weekend. My family on Thursday, surprise birthday for hubby's gramma on Saturday, then his family on Sunday. We typically do the black friday thing but we were both so tired we online shopped and slept in- it was wonderful. Our phones kept ringing- our friends were shocked we werent out and about. Haha.

@hopeby2015@lady2010@southernyankeegirl I have tried it ALL : sex, acupressure, pedicures, 5 mile walks, spicy food, homeopathy, massage, squats, and I'm sure I'm missing a few! The only thing I'm not brave enough to try is castor oil!!
@Ashris13 -- sorry, I am just now seeing this. Thanks for checking on me. Madison Ella came on thanksgiving day weighing 7lbs 6 oz and measuring 20 inches long. Kind of appropriate that our miracle baby arrived on Thansgiving. We are in love with her!
Hope things are going well with you and Ellie!

Re: \\\\ 3rd Tri Check-In 11/26 ////
All well here, though yesterday sucked.
Off birth control March 2012 - Actively trying Sept 2012-April 2014
BFP on May 5th after Follistim & IUI #3
Thanks for taking over @mdiblasi10.

Baby girl arrived on Thanksgiving day weighing 7lbs 6oz and measuring 20 inches
How far along are you? 35 wks 1 day
Upcoming appointments? I have my first weekly appointment on Monday and we’re going to start cervical checks.
Any updates to share? Last night was my last birthing/childcare class! The whole breastfeeding thing still makes me nervous. I've realized I’m going to continue to feel this way until I have LO in my arms and I try it out. I’m mentally and physically prepared to BF and I’m prepared to FF. Hopefully my body will cooperate!
How are you feeling? Can’t sleep, out of breath, constant heartburn, and my belly is very itchy. I’m very uncomfortable but who isn’t in the 3rd trimester :P
QOTW: Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving, tell us about your Thanksgiving (and weekend) plans. Going over the ILs tomorrow to stuff myself. DH works retail so he will be working 1am until 10am on Black Friday. Once he’s home and in bed I plan on shopping with my mom and sisters. I’m hoping to get most if not all of my shopping done! Saturday DH and I pick up our Christmas tree and bust out the Christmas decorations I’m so excited!! Sunday is the start of advent. I LOVE when we get to sing traditional Christmas hymns at church
Me: 30, DH: 32
My hx: uterus/hormones normal Dx: low AMH 0.5 = poor ovarian reserve
hubby hx: low sperm count, poor motility, started on clomid, retest in May showed no improvement, will be on clomid another 3 months, another retest scheduled for August
Started IVF #1: ~BFP Mentioned~
mdiblasi10 - thanks for taking over!
southernyankeegirl- sorry your appointment was rough. I get an NST every time I go now and some times she's super active, and some times she's asleep and it scares the crap out of us.
IVF #1 Oct 2013- cancelled
IVF #2 Mar 2014- success.... baby girl born 11/28/14
FET #1 Mar 2016- baby boy due 12/16/16
Even this second time around, I am in awe of it all
QOTW: we are hosting both sets of parents and my BIL, with everyone pitching in on the cooking.

How far along are you? 38w2d
Upcoming appointments? Dec 9th!
