AFM, I've been getting really sad again recently since my EDD is next week. Everything seems to remind me of that.
Thanksgiving is keeping me preoccupied though, hosting for MH and my families, which includes 6 kids, so that will be interesting...

Hey everyone,

@Medic7979 sorry for AF, though I think I may be joining you this weekend.

I tried to take my EDD off but we have too many people off that day already (only two allowed at a time.) So I asked my co-teacher if she would switch shifts with me so that if I needed to go home and we were low enough in kids I could go home and take care of myself. She told me "Well you know which 2 will be left at the end of the night, and you know how they work me. So probably not."

Anyway, for Thanksgiving we do a dinner with friends who have no family nearby to visit or don't want to visit their family that is nearby (mine is 1200 miles away and DH's travel for work so we never know where they will be.) So we will fix the turkey and mashed potatoes and everyone else brings a side dish or two.

Also trying to decide what to do for my birthday which is Saturday. So far no good options here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey girls, sorry for the post and run yesterday. I was planning on replying at work while waiting for hubby, but ended up crashing instead.

@medic7979 - I saw =( It sucks to have AF on a major holiday. I usually end up with it on Christmas XP I'm glad to hear that your mom is doing better and I hope your dad's surgery went well.

@MSU_Girl1202 - *big hugs* lady. I find that trying to stay busy really helps keep your mind off of it. There's a reason I've got a gazillion projects on the go right now.

@Anseler - I'm sorry you weren't able to take it off. My parents do the same thing - they call it a misfits Thanksgiving. I ended up doing it one year when we were still up north, but everyone we know down here have family they go to.

I'm no good at planning for special events. We usually end up just doing the same things. Like for my birthday we always go out to breakfast and go apple picking (I just like breakfast better. I usually end up meeting my best friend out for breakfast lol). Maybe do an indoors picnic? That can be fun, and lead to fun times too

AFM -

We got slammed last night with that snow storm that hit Boston. We've got a good 18" and it hasn't stopped yet. At least my dog is happy lol.

TTC wise, AF has been and gone. Was a weird super light (for me anyways) period. Not sure what's going on. Also, looks like I'm not benched. I TP'ed a little while ago that they want $70 for the MMR! Uh, no thank you, that's my groceries for a week. So until I can figure out what else to do, we'll just continue on this month like normal.

I did start temping vaginally, and it seems to have made a difference in temp stability. Though they are quite a bit higher than what I was getting orally which is freaking me out a tiny bit.

Just sitting on my bench. My first real natural AF in 18 months arrived and the bitch brought a butt load of acne with her.... X( so I'm 38 with the skin of a 15 y/o awesome! Other than that nothing much happening.
