Symptoms of UTI but no infection?

Hi everyone!
Sorry if this is TMI. The last week or so I had been experiencing the tight burning bladder after peeing, increased frequency and feeling generally unwell, so the midwife tested my urine, my temp and the baby's heartbeat and position and everything is perfect. But I am still getting burning after going toilet and cramping, has anyone else got this? Is it just a pregnancy feeling? I am 32 weeks. Thanks in advance

Third Tri you are more susceptible to UTI and Yeast Infections. You should ask your doctor if you could take something over the counter for a Yeast infection.

Thank you, I have been taking cranberry morning and night which normally helps but not This time, thrush was ruled out too, maybe it's just my body's way of being pregnant!

i had them check my urine at my last appointment (they don't routinely have you pee in a cup at this practice, only if your BP is up or you think you have a UTI) because i was having symptoms of one too.  everything in the clear.  baby's just using my bladder as a pillow.  lol

Didn't @ICarriedAWatermelon‌ say that cranberry juice doesn't actually help a UTI? Or am I confusing her with someone else?

OP, I hope you get some relief soon. That UTI feeling sucks, whether you have an infection or not.

Like @saiven said it may just not have come back yet. They usually do a culture I think and wait a few days to see if it grows something. I had an asymptomatic UTI last pregnancy and my in office test was clear but a few days after my appointment they called me to prescribe an antibiotic because the culture had grown something. Hopefully whatever it is can get cleared up soon, that's no fun!

I don't really have any advice to offer, I just wanted to share that I am in a similar situation. Three or four times since ~25 weeks, I've had symptoms of a UTI. Sometimes it was pain, burning, urgent need to pee, but most often it is just blood in my urine. I've had three full urine analyses - they have all been negative. I'm frustrated because I don't know what is causing the symptoms and I'm annoyed that I was given antibiotics several times only to find out that I did not have an infection. We're thinking it might be small passable kidney stones, but who knows.

Yes, like PPs said, there's a good chance that it is a UTI especially if they didn't do the full culture. However, I just wanted you to know that it's possible that it's NOT a UTI too. Beyond that, I can't help because I have no idea what's going on with me either!

Regarding cranberry juice - maybe I missed this, but cranberry juice won't do anything if you have an infection already. There may be some evidence that it can help prevent an infection from starting but once it's already present it needs to be treated with antibiotics.
