I don't know if this is a Midwest thing or what but when I lived in California, DH and I were always told how disgusting this was but we love it!! It's very common in Indiana.

Peanut butter sandwiches dipped in chili.

My 4 yr old loves pickles and bread. I love pickles but not just pickles and bread!

Never heard of this and I agree it sounds disgusting, lol. How did someone even discover this combo?!

I'm in Indiana so I probably don't count, but we always had chili and peanut butter sandwiches. I didn't dip it, but my mom still does.

Amjoy is it totally raw? Also...how do you eat it? As an appetizer or meal?? Please give me more info :)

I ball up quarter sized bites, salt them and pop them in my mouth. I don't eat very much, just a few bites before I brown the meat.

Fries and a chocolate shake. Like you use the shake as a dip. Take the very salty fry and dip it in the chocolate shake and enjoy! So good!

Done it. Wendy's is the best!

PB sammies dipped in chili. That sounds doable!

Velveeta cheese and sweet pickle sandwich on white bread with extra mayo.

I used to eat dill pickles, velveeta slices and mayo on white bread!! It's like we were meant to be!

I don't put my hot dogs in buns, just dip them in vinegar! It's weird but so good, also carb-free!

    Like malt vinegar?

  • Frozen peas staight from the freezer. My cats and I like to eat them together. Hmmm... That makes me sound like a crazy cat lady.

I love frozen peas or mixed veggies. DH thinks I'm crazy, but it's a great snack!

I used to share bananas and French fries with my cat. Welcome to the crazy cat lady club!
  • I like to take cold, leftover spaghetti and put it between two slices of squishy white bread, smoosh it together, and eat it. It's #toomanycarbs now, so I haven't done it in a while.

A diner I used to eat at served a spaghetti burger. I hadn't been there in years but we went this weekend and it was no longer on the menu. I never got to try it before and now I'm sad, lol.

When I was little my dad used to make us mayonnaise sandwiches - just mayo and bread. Also I really really like fried sweet breads. I'm an adventurous eater though and will try almost anything once.
I LOVE mayo, so this sounds delicious!

    Like malt vinegar?

No, just white vinegar. It's yummy.
  • My dad used to dip Wonder bread in the blood of a rare roast. I always thought that was gross.

Malt vinegar on fries, but I think that's fairly common in the Northeast.

I have no idea how someone would think to put them together but it really is good. You should try it!
