Ugh, can I just get a catheter?

Please!?! Cuz I swear I have to pee ALL the time!! And don't get me started on the little leaks, I can't sneeze, cough, laugh etc. I do my kegels all the time and I'm not even sure it's helping. And to make things "better" our bedroom is in the basement and the bathroom is on the main floor.

Sorry just need to rant cuz I gave up today and just bought pads, I thought being pad free was supposed to be a perk of pregnancy

Anybody else with me here?

I'm not that bad (yet!), but that really sucks you have to go upstairs to pee! Not cool!

Lol I literally just told my husband last night that I need a catheter! I pee a lot, partly because of being pregnant and partly because I'm trying to stay super hydrated...at night it gets tiring getting up so much to pee so a catheter would come in handy lol. Luckily my bathroom is 5 feet from my bed though! And I'm only 11.5 weeks so I haven't had to deal with the other pleasures you guys have spoken of yet!

Catheters are painful, I don't think you really mean that. I get being annoyed by incontinence, and I am sorry you are peeing all the time, but this post just is rubbing me the wrong way today. Maybe it's because I am wearing my bitchy infertile hat today, or because my BMB has had a rash of pre-term labor and deliveries recently, but I know there's dozens of women who are struggling to carry to term and dozens more still struggling to get pregnant on the IF and 3T boards who would kill to be in your shoes with a healthy baby growing big and strong, incontinence and all.

We don't have to enjoy all aspects of pregnancy, obviously, but keeping gratitude and a sense of humor in mind seems to make the hard parts easier. I just bought Depends to wear after delivery for post-partum bleeding, and was ecstatic about it. Will it suck to bleed like a stuck pig and wear an adult diaper so I don't bleed everywhere? No doubt. But right now that inconvenience means to me that I will have a baby in my arms, and that makes thinking about all the hassles as inconsequential side effects of having everything I ever wanted.

LOL. I don't find myself having to pee all the time every day just yet. But I've had the coughing, sneezing issue since I was pregnant with DS#1. That is the first thing I warn my friends pregnant with #1 about. I'd much rather have to pee all the time (except when I'm stuck somewhere without a bathroom) than still have nausea and dry heaving. (

Now that I'm 27 wks my night time peeing is under control. Daytime different story. I've been wearing Poise for many many weeks now Darn coughing!!

As far as Depends for PP-I have two friends who swear by them! They may have gifted me with their leftovers I'll definitely give them a try!

I started using lemon essential oil in a desperate attempt to help my kidney stone issues. I've been surprised how much it has helped in the peeing department. I feel like I can now go more at one time so I don't have to go as often. I'm down from 5-6 trips a night to 2 at 28 weeks.

I just put a few drops in my water bottle or glass. I usually fill it twice before I add more oil. And it tastes yummy too!
