Girl names are hard

My husband and I have been narrowing down our names but still not seeing eye to eye. My finals are Emilia and Julianna and his are Lucy, Mia and Gia. I would love to honor my Italian heritage with our name. His big hang up is Julianna is too long and I think Mia and Gia are too short. We already have a Gianna in the family (not immediate family) and he HATES Giada as a suggestion to do Gia as a nn. I assume he will think Giovanna is too long as well.  And I love Lucia but he has a friend's daughter who is Lucia and doesn't want to use it. Any other ideas in keeping with our style that we are overlooking? Thanks!!

Thanks ladies! You are def on my wavelength. I loved Chiara and Gemma but they were vetoed I will suggest nn Mia for Emilia- that could work. And Mila is great too. And I like Livia just wonder if it's too close to all the Olivias that are the rage right now.
DH is not Italian at all so he finds some of the names too much for him and his side of the family!
