Update in case I don't make it to tomorrow's check in:
XP on December Sugar Plums
You can move me over to stimming (IVF #2- ER only)
I had my baseline us and bloodwork this morning and just got the call to go ahead and start stims tonight. I had 9 follicles showing this morning - the most we've ever seen is 8 so this has me optimistic that this EPP may be good for me. So 6 vials of Bravelle & 2 Menopur a day (geez!) starts tonight! Also on a steroid this time. I'll go back in on Thursday for first monitoring appt.
I had my consult with my RE and I love her. She was totally on board with looking into endomitritis/infection as a cause of my lining issues. So I am having an endometrial biopsy next week (not looking forward to that, but I want to leave no stone unturned). She also wants to be agressive with my lining protocol and wants me to start the viagra supps and terbutaline from the beginning, which I am in total agreement with. If this is our last OE cycle, I want to throw everything at it. No regrets.
She also said she was really happy with the two embryos we have frozen. They are both grade 2 expanded blasts. She said they rarely give out grade 1s (which is interesting since I had a grade 1 early blast from IVF 2 and a grade 1 expanded blast from IVF 3) and that most of their pregnancies come from grade 2s or grade 3 blasts. One of the blasts was my grade 2 7 cell embryo on day 3 and the other was a grade 3 4 cell embryo on day 3.
DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA
October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos
November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues. Converted to freeze all due to lining issues. 2 blasts frozen on day 6!
January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues
IfMamaAintHappy I'm so happy to hear about your follicle count! I hope this is a great cycle for you.
Twinkie0612 that's awesome that you love your RE and have an aggressive plan. I had an endo biopsy without anesthesia in October and while it does really suck, it's over fast and I didn't have any lingering pain or cramping. The told me take a valium and 800 Advil. I cheated and took one of my heavy-duty pain pills leftover from ER (and the valium).
IVF #4 No suppression/Antagonist Nov 2014/Converted to IUI #1 = BFN IVF #4.1 Feb 2015 = cancelled IVF #4.2 April 2015 - Lupron Stop Protocol with ICSI = PGD testing of embryo indicated it was abnormal IVF #5 June 2015 EPP with Antagonist
