Unequal fundal size and dates

I had my first appointment yesterday and doc said everything was fine.  They are sending me for an ultrasound at 7 weeks and last night when I looked at the ultrasound prescription, it said the reason for the ultrasound was "unequal fundal size and date."  Doc doesn't open until 9 and now I'm kind of panicking.  Has anyone seen this?

My doctor said something similar at my first appointment and sent me for another U/s for "uterine sizing/date".

Everything measured exactly on target at my u/s. The tech said that the doctor probably felt a discrepency because I have a tilted uterus.

Definitely call your doctor and ask if you have questions. That's what they are there for. Fingers crossed for you that it's not a big deal.

Thanks for the reply.  I was just taken a back because they didn't say anything at the appointment yesterday and by the time I looked at the paperwork, they were closed.

Just talked to the doctor.  Apparently it needed to be coded that way for an early test since they aren't typical until at least 8-10 weeks.  He didn't see anything alarming or off.  Ahhh insurance coding...  But thankful that everything does still seem OK.

On a related note... I hate the word fundal.
