Pregnant after a Loss

6 weeks pregnant after a loss.

Hey girls:)
So I am now 6 weeks pregnant after having a m/c in August. I am so nervous I will miscarry again. I have a 2 year old son and his pregnancy went very smoothly:) With my m/c, I went in at what I thought was 8 weeks and was told I was 5. Went in 2 weeks later and baby had measured 6 weeks 1 day with no hb:( I wish I could relax and tell myself all will be okay, but I am just a nervous wreck. How many of you went on to have a healthy pregnancy after a loss?

Re: 6 weeks pregnant after a loss.

  • I'm so sorry for your loss. There are many women on here who went on to bring home a beautiful child after their loss.  There are many of us on here who are currently pregnant as well.

Take a look at the mantras in the pinned post at the top of the page - they are very useful.

  • Congratulations! There are so many great stories after loss that I'm sure will encourage you. I had a loss with my first pregnancy then went on to have a healthy and uneventful pregnancy with my now 2 1/2 year old daughter. I did have 2 losses last winter but now I'm almost 25 weeks into what has so far been an easy pregnancy. Best wishes to you that this is another smooth pregnancy like your first!
  • Congrats and welcome.
