Apps that are useful- please share

Hello new mamas! Are there any phone apps that you are using to track feedings, diapers, create white noise or anything else? I'm curious to hear what you are using and your thoughts about them.

  • Baby connect you can track just about everything. The downside is that the app isn't formatted for both the iPhone and iPad. You can use the iPhone version on the iPad but it won't be formatted to the whole screen. You would need to buy the iPad app.

  • I second baby connect. We've been using it since LO was born and it's awesome.... So helpful to not have to try to remember it all!

  • I use "Baby Care" to track growth stats (it plots baby's height & weight on a chart). The paid version saves your info online. It tracks a bunch of other stuff too, but I only use the growth tracking.

  • I didn't like baby connect. I didn't really give it a fair shot since I was always in a panic while trying to use it (early stages of BF). I find Sprout to be much more user friendly. It will track feelings (which side, how long, bottle/breast), diaper changes, sleep, tummy time - basically everything. It will also produce graphs of your records. It is free for 2 weeks then costs 4.99 once your trial ends. Also has the option of multiple users on different devices - if your husband or someone else helps out they can add it as well.

  • I third the baby connect app.  DH has enjoyed being kept in the loop on how DD is doing while at work.  We both downloaded it and love it.
  • We like baby Daybook and it just got a good update. Also "white noise maker" is plain and fine.

  • I'm really liking Total Baby. We paid the extra to sync between all our devices. So we have it on both our iPhones and iPads.
  • I second Baby Daybook. Simple, which is great at 2am. The only thing I didn't like was that the bottle feedings want you to use mL's instead of oz's. I know there are 30mL's (roughly) per ounce, but math is not your friend by the third MOTN feeding.

  • I'm using Baby Feed and love it. It is free and tracks everything with relation to feeding and diapering.
  • @meeshybee‌ You can switch to oz!!! It's in settings > units > imperial
