DS2 has what may be roseola. His first case was in September of 2013 (we took him to the dr). This time, I may just keep him home for the week. He was very fussy on Saturday and had a near fever Saturday night (99.5-100 degrees). Yesterday he seemed to be feeling better, but he had a light rash over most of his body. Today the rash is a little darker. I realize it could be something else, but this seems to fit the profile. His fever was higher the first time he had it, but still not near the really high temps I've read about, fortunately. This time, the pre-rash illness was shorter. Maybe he built up some antibodies. Just wondering if anyone dealt with this illness in their child more than once, or suspected it.
He seems to be very rash-prone. Roseola once, then Hand Foot Mouth Disease, then erythema multiforme (specific rash caused by antibiotics, bacterial infection, or in his case, viral infection), and now this. Every time his illness has been mild (especially the HFM), so I'm glad, but DS1 never got any of these things. He gets a lot sicker with other stuff, though.
