I am 4 months pregnant with my first child and feel more beautiful than ever! Just knowing that I have a precious baby girl growing inside me gives me so much enthusiasm! I can't wait until the day that I get to see my all amazing bundle and kiss her soft cheeks! Felicity Evangeline, you are already so loved by not only me but your whole family. I would like to hear from everyone else who is just feeling AMAZING, and can't wait for what the future holds

  • My glowing, is amixture of sweat and oil that has caused my oh so sensitive skin to break out like a 15yr old boy going through puberty.

  • Ya, I'm definitely not one of those "love being pregnant" types. I wish. Although, on the upside, pregnancy usually makes me not give a shit about how I look :)

  • It was nice to read your post, OP. It made me hopeful. I'm 15w, 3d, and I thought I would try to get off the unisom/B6 meds by not taking a dose last night. Spent the night crying/vomiting (not sleeping); I guess it's just too early to get off the meds for me. Hoping my second tri glow comes soon!!!

  • I'm currently glowing... but I think its from the slice of pizza I just consumed. Does that count?
  • This content has been removed.
  • Nope- not me.  I am however, finally feeling some second tri energy.
  • My neck is covered in skin tags and my hair looks and feels like straw. My body missed the " You are supposed to be glowing memo."

And even better my left leg is constantly swollen and all of my knee high boots looks special because they are tight on one leg and loose on the other! I LOVE pregnancy!

  • I glow when I explode in hormonal anger at someone lol. That's about it. Otherwise I'm pale as a ghost and have a few zits on my chin. Pregnancy is magic.
  • My MIL told me I was glowing last time. I laughed in her face. This time around I have had a few days were I felt like I looked really beautiful. It's not something I would usually think to myself like man, I look so great. It could have been that my make-up was just on point that day.

Also, this makes me think of the craptastic movie that was WTEWYE. One of the only parts I liked was at the end when Elizabeth Banks' character said that her baby was her glow. I can relate to that.

  • Ladies, if you haven't tried Estee Lauder skincare yet, it will make you glow! I just got a new bottle of the Perfectionist firming serum (christmas bottle from last year just ran out) it will clear your face up. I also use the Advanced Time Zone wrinkle cream moisturizer and it leaves my face glowing without leaving it oily. They're pricey but it has been worth every penny for me. I couldn't wait a month to get a new bottle. Go try some samples! Good luck!

  • I have lots of breakouts and RANDOM HAIR coming from places it shouldn't. Also, my mom told me my face was filling out "nicely." The only glowing I've done so far is from rage and embarrassment. Happy for u though OP. Maybe there's hope for me later??? Doubtful though bc I ripped a pair of yoga pants with my fat ass yesterday and it was really upsetting.

Ur photo looks like it came from a catalogue.... Are u actually real???
  • I put a pic up of me on Facebook and my cousin goes "wow you are glowing xx" and I reply "nah it's just a filter".. I don't feel glowing but maybe I will eventually
  • I'm currently glowing... but I think its from the slice of pizza I just consumed. Does that count?

Lol.. For some reason I got a visual of someone rubbing greasy pizza on her face.

I have acne, double chin, and generally look like my chubby 15 year old self at the moment.

Not to be totally juvenile - but I hope ms USA weigh 200lbs when she gives birth. I can say this - because I was that size with my first. Glow now- because you won't later.....
  • While I don't feel as great as you apparently do, I do share your excitement and love of all this pregnancy symbolizes: the precious baby!
  • Haha I dont think I'm glowing. But my boyfriend says I'm prettier now than before lol whatever that means

I might actually glow. Now that I really examine my skin in the mirror- it really is so pale at this point I might glow if put under a black light!!

I know I'll glow if I'm put under one of those sunscreen detector lights. I use SPF 30 or above religiously but still burn every summer.
  • No glowing going on over here....

I have dry skin and acne-pretty much all over my body.

    I haven't pooped in 4 days so I look 6 months pregnant and I'm only 14 weeks.

I could shave my body from the waist down twice a day and the hair would still be long enough to braid.

Oh and I just got a cold sore on my lip that feels like it's growing by the second

Definitely excited for the baby at the end of all this. But in general, I think pregnancy sucks
  • yeah......................no. That was the weirdest post ever. Glad you feel so warmly about your baby (I'm sure we all do) but broadcasting it that descriptively online is just strange. And no, I don't feel like I'm glowing. But I am just LOVING all of the acne and dry skin and hairiness that this pregnancy is giving me.

  • There is no glowing over here. I'm rocking the flu. So, I guess with the sweating I'm glowing.

I was scheduled for a flu shot today and got the flu the day before. Yay

My vomit may have been glowing from all the acid in my stomach? But I'm definetly not glowing. I burp probably 150 times a day and have acid reflux if I eat anything or if I avoid eating.

    Edited for fat fingers
  • HAHA!  I felt like I was glowing last night after I threw up the remains of the hot dog I had for dinner.  Nothing is better than the feeling post-vomit or post-poop (especially after I was constipated for three days...THAT was a great dump).

My husband probably thinks I am the most beautiful thing as I shove my face with nachos (watched Cutthroat kitchen last night and one of their challenges was nachos and the sweet man left the house at 7:30pm to get me tortilla chips because I heard the word and I had to have some).  Bring on the greasy glow!

  • Someone at work said I was glowing today. I told them, "No. It's sweat." I was more annoyed by his statement then I had any right to be.
  • I wouldn't even consider myself "cute" at this point, much less "glowingly beautiful."
    image
  • My "glow" is from the extra oil my skin is producing, and sweat. I'm seriously sweaty all the time :-S

  • If by glowing you mean I look like a pubescent teen covered in acne then yes, yes, I am in deed "glowing"

I also swear by a product called Miracol by Merle Norman. It is hands down the BEST pimple overnight face mask and moisturizer I have ever used. I use it as a moisturizer in the winter only usually as our summers are humid as an air hot tub... But it will zap any zit literally overnight. Gone.

No not much glowing here at all sadly. More like oh I'm not throwing up today? Great I made it one day lol but this is my second pregnancy. My first was a few years ago and I must have wiped those memories clean because I swore to the high heavens that I never felt this crummy last time. Luckily I have family that remembers my craziness and said that I was just as afflicted lol. Glad you're glowing though. Glow extra for me please!!!
  • A friend told me today I was glowing, I told her one of my shiny pimples must be reflecting light.

  • I feel great for the most part....now that MS is over. My major issue now is I'm tired a lot more than I'd like to be. Now glowing...I don't know if that's what's going on unless I'm taking a batch of cookies out of the oven. I am incredibly happy and upbeat most of the time though....despite my less than ideal situation. I too keep thinking of the moment I get to hold the baby.....gets me through a lot. Things are going to get hairy with me before they get better....trying to keep upbeat and feeling pretty well so far surely helps with that. Thank God!
