Brown discharge/red when wiping

I am 4 weeks pregnant. I have had brown spotting  on a pad or  red spotting when I wipe....I went in for an ultrasound last week, but I am still too early to tell if everything is normal. I am waiting to hear back on the HCG test to make sure that is normal. This waiting is killing me though!!! I am not filling up a pad or have cramps, but I am going on day 5 of this. (I was supposed to be getting my period when I started). It goes in waves as well. On Saturday I stopped spotting, but started again with the red when wiping last night. Now it seems to not be bad....Am I just having a light period???? Should I be extremely worried????

I am really hoping to hear that this is normal....this is my first child....and I am not sure what to expect.....

Could be implantation bleeding. Try not to worry too much. Spotting can be normal, especially in the first trimester.

This is me too however I am on day 30 of this. The dr found my progesterone was low so I am on supplements. So far all is well. I have been able to see baby and heart beat. I am 7w2d

Cbolt, did you say you have been bleeding for 30 days?
