@N0702 how is your citizenship application going? Have you done your fingerprints? Do you know when the big day is? Sorry if you updated and I missed it.
@sparkymcgeee I was diagnosed with arthritis in my left big toe during my pregnancy and I had to get an injection into the joint so that I could walk on it. I almost fainted. Toe pain really is the pits. sorry you're dealing with that. I can't bend my left toes properly at all because of it.
All the sick babies makes me sad. I hate this season of sickness. DD is all stuffed up and has a slight cough but she's in good spirits and happy to be home I think.
Silas has discovered the laundry chute. It's in our bathroom, and we normally just keep the door closed, but whenever I'm in there pooping (with the door open of course) he always immediately runs to his room and starts pulling clothes out of his dresser. Then he brings the clothes to the bathroom and throws them down the chute while I sit helplessly on the toilet.

DS lays on the floor at 5:30 crying his ear hurts. I call the dr who thankfully said to come right down. He has an ear infection, she tells me Motrin for pain and she was calling in amoxicillin to the pharmacy. They do the prescription through the computer so I do not have a physical copy. Get to pharmacy and the computers are down. They said if the dr sent it when the system was down, they will not get it. At this point it is almost 7 and both kids are crying. DS's ear hurts and DD is hungry. I had our dinner in the oven when we rushed to the dr. So back home, kids are fed, gave DS Motrin, and the computers are still down. So it does not look like DS is getting his amoxicillin tonight. Now I am praying that DD does not get an ear infection too. This is DS's first one.
>:D< @new2011mommy That sounds like an awful night. Jack can always bring a smile to your face ) What a ham @lizabethann06
Thanksgiving is back at FIL & MIL house! I guess MIL told FIL to get his head out of his ass. If it switches one more time, I'm staying home and no one is coming over. I'll have oreo's for dinner.
I nicknamed my baby piranha face for the evening. He kept biting and it was awful. He was coming at me like a little monster, it was kind of scary. He was so tired and he's asleep beside me and now I feel guilty for giving him that nickname.
Eyedrops in for Jack.
Eardrops in for Jack.
Amoxicillin for Jack.
Amoxicillin for Brynne.
Bath and pajamas and books for both kids.
Jack turns to me and says " I love you even when you have a crabby look on your face and your hair is weird and nesty, mommy. " )
You're a superhero mama. Well done.

Hey @PickleX I just now saw your comment. I had my fingerprints taken today and I also got the study guide. Next step is the interview and then the ceremony. I am guessing I will be all done by the end of January (or at least I hope).
Awesome! Keep us updated and we'll have to have an America themed gif party in your honor when it's all done
Ugh. Huge fight with H about spending time with his family. We really have two very different perspectives on this stuff. Plus his mother makes my skin crawl. Not a great night in the Du household.
He loves these huge shoes so much. Gonna have to hide them for the next year.

>:D< It's so hard working out the mechanics of other families. I'm right there with you
I was wearing the gherkin earlier in the snow and wind, and some perv said something like "hey girl what can I do to get that close to you" pointing at my kid in the carrier. I usually forget whatever sexual harassment happens throughout the day but that one is still really grossing me out hours later. The gherkin was cooperating with me and we were doing lots of eskimo kisses and it was sweet so don't be gross, members of the public. =;
@simone711 I know what you mean. First I got stuck behind someone doing 30 on the new 10. Then after I get around them only to be passed like I am standing still by a semi. I was going 45/50 at that point. Bad visions of a fishtailing trailer went through my mind as it went by...
Me too @Encchanted. I worry about everyone and the hatred these people feel for the police is palpable. One of the first things that happened was busting up a police cruiser and trying to tip it over. It looks like people are dispersing and I hope it's going to end as quickly as it started.
I want to go to bed but I can't turn off my brain. The intermittent sirens don't help.

We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
