Hi there everyone! I am hanging out on CD 10, waiting to see if I get an early surge like last time or have to convert this to TI.

I think my three pet peeves are:
    1) people who repeatedly say 'we should make plans/get together' when they have no desire to actually get together.
2). People who can't merge (or stubbornly refuse to let others merge)
3). Unsolicited parenting advice from my SIL. (who am I supposed to use this on, the cats?) I can't wait to hear everyone else's!

Edit:  and iPad editing!  Can I have a fourth?
Me (33), PCOS. Bloodwork normal, AMH slightly high, HSG clear
    DH (40) SA good

Checking in with our dr on wed.

    My three Pet peeves
    1) crabby co workers who make it their job to point out every little thing you do wrong.
    2) bad bedside manor Drs and nurses
    3) dirty laundry lol

Hello from the 2ww! Beta in one week (12/1)... really hoping for a miracle this time before moving to gonal-F in January.

@bluefairy5 same beta day... I'm finding it so hard to not test yet... I think I'm going to break down and test on Thanksgiving morning.  I really want to be present mentally during family time, and if I'm obsessing over the possibility of a postive, I know I'll be off in LaLa land most the day!

    PET PEEVES

    1) Passive agression

    2) Using your facebook status as a personal blog

    3) Time Warner Cable... everything about it :)

    Hi Ladies...

    @AnnaClaire256, please add me :)

Coming off of bench, I'm on cd2, cd3 appointment tomorrow let's hope for no cysts so that I can get this show started for IUI#4 with Injectibles.

QOTW: (1) people not calling/following up with you if they've committed to an event or get-together. People, life happens, just give me the courtesy of texting or calling - hey I'm not going to make it. I don't judge or hold grudges.

    (2) repeating myself to someone for the 3rd or 4th. Either take notes or tell me to explain it in a different way.

    (3) not refilling the coffee or cleaning the coffee maker after you've made coffee. Seriously, if you drank the last cup of coffee at least turn it off or rinse it with water. This really really makes me mad.

Well, IUI #1 was a fail. Today is 12dpo and my test was negative. I have really bad cramps and AF should be here by tomorrow. MH and I had a long talk last night about how we will be moving forward. We will talk to the RE first but, I guess we will do one round of Gonal F with IUI and then see. I think our only other option is IVF with DE. We are 100% OOP so obviously this is a big decision. We both agree that we are not ready to give up even though emotionally this is so hard.

I stopped those Progesterone supps 1.5 days ago and I must be feeling emotional from that too because I am a faucet over here reading the post and responses about anxiety and IF. :(

Thanks for listening and good luck to everyone with their IUI's!

    1. Laziness

    2. Selfishness

    3. Clutter in our home. Toys are one thing but, mail and laundry that's sitting out not folded drives me nuts. I actually get so visually distracted and anxious if there is clutter around. Yes, I have issues.

Can I join? I've just started meds for IUI #1.

I've posted some of this on the main board and the IF check-in, but we've been off BC since 1/2013, started temping/charting in 5/2013. Started testing with an RE in 6/2014. HSG normal for me, no cysts, no insulin resistance, AMH and antral follicle count normal (22), SA normal for DH. I'm non-PCOS hypoovulatory/unexplained.

    ***LOSS MENTIONED***

We did two cycles of Clomid + TI with our RE, second cycle conceived then had a MMC at 8w1d. Just cleared by my RE to burn the bench, currently day 3 of Clomid for first IUI. Had baseline bloodwork/ultrasound 11/21. First monitoring U/S is 12/1. Planning for Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI.

    QOTW:
    1. Not using turn signals
    2. Misuse of your/you're, etc
    3. And in our house, DH wadding up clean clothes and stuffing them in a drawer after I've taken time to fold them!

5/2014 started testing with RE, me:  HSG normal, normal AMH, no cysts; DH: great sperm

Well, IUI #1 was a bust for me... I cried so many tears this weekend. I'm so frustrated because my first cycle on Letrozole (TI), I didn't have the mid-LP spotting that I was getting so often, so I figured the meds helped. But this time around I started at 7dpo, it went away for a couple days but then came back. And it's super weird spotting too (TMI alert), almost looks like coffee grounds with pieces of tissue in it. So gross, and makes me feel like my body is broken. I've been having cramping for like a week too.

I was so hopeful this cycle, and it all got squashed. I had two eggs on my open side, so I feel like if this cycle didn't work then none of them will. Guess I just have to gear up for IUI #2, knowing they will cancel it if I don't have any eggs on the left. I fucking hate dealing with this around the holidays, so if this cycle doesn't work at out I might just skip the next one entirely.

Sorry for being totally negative. I'm in a mood, and today is my 11 hour day at work. Argh!!

Edited: In my ranting, I forgot the QOTW. Pet peeves....

    1) When I can't find something.

    2) Being told I'm wrong when I KNOW I'm right

    3) People being bad tippers. I used to waitress and it drives me crazy when I'm out with people who don't tip well.

    Me: 27 DH: 35

    TTC #1 Since July 2013

    Started RE Testing July 2014

2 HSG tests: Right tube is blocked, possible endo.

TSH elevated, started Synthroid 25 mg daily.

October, 2014: Femara 5 mg + TI ---> 3 follies on blocked tube side ---> BFN

November, 2014: Femara + Ovidrel + IUI#1--2 follies (on the good side), 46 mil. motile sperm=BFN

    Nov-Dec 2014: Femara + Ovidrel + IUI #2 (1 follie, 76 mil. motile sperm) + Endometrin=BFN

    January, 2014: Femara + Ovidrel + IUI #3 (1 follie, 38 mil. motile sperm)=???

Hi @AnnaClaire256‌ I would like to be added if it's appropriate for me. If not let me know.

    1. Where are you at in the IUI process? (2WW, meds, break, etc.)

Well tww ended today 13dpiui with a BFN. I took 100 mg clomid and hcg shot.

    2. Which IUI are you on?

Iui #1 (been ttc for a year naturally)

    3. Test/Beta day?
Was today just waiting on AF.

I'm not sure if an iui #2 is in the cards for me. Dr wants to be aggressive so it may be ivf next. Will know soon enough. Good luck ladies. I'm pretty bummed out today!
Me 42, DH 33, TTC for about a year naturally (but no protection for 4 yrs). Together 6 yrs, married June 2014.
    CD 3, FSH of 15, E2 67, AMH 0.43, LH 6.2, normal HSG test
DH good count but low volume, 87% motility, 1% morphology
    IUI#1 - Nov 2014, 100 mg clomid and HCG, 2 large follies 20 & 16mm (7 follies total). BFN
    IVF# 1 Jan 2014, 225 Gonal F, 225 Menopur, Ganirelix, 4R/3M/1F w/ICSI - PUPO!

@humblebee2 I 100% agree with you on being interrupted!  I can't stand that!!  Like, it makes me go crazy!

Thanks @Annaclaire256 for keeping this check-in!  I'm CD8, and will go Wednesday for monitoring.  This time we are trying fermara and TI (We only want to do 3 attempts with IUI, so I don't want to waste my last try....so ridiculous I know!  It's a total mind-game for me!).  We will see what happens Wednesday.

    QOTW

    1.  Being interrupted.  Hate that sh*t.

    2. People who lack common sense.  I supervise a fairly large team of women and half the time I feel like they are all a bunch of babies and totally lack common sense.  The stupid processes that need to be discussed over and over makes me nuts.

    3.  I'm not sure if this counts as a pet peeve, but there is really gross sound that some people make to 'itch' the back of their throats.  I can't describe it, but it makes me want to vomit when I hear it.  I totally stopped dating someone I had been seeing for close to a year because of the sound!

The bonus of pet peeves, is there are good excuses to drink!

@BandM14 - I'm sorry this cycle was so hard :-(

@firstarabesque - I hope you guys enjoy the next few weeks without the stress of IF treatments!

CD 11.  I had my first monitoring appointment for this cycle on Sunday and it appears that I am responding better to the Clomid this time around.  There were 4 measurable follicles.  I'm going back on Wednesday morning.  Hopefully there will be some good progress!

Thanks @deelopi9‌ and @BlueFairy5‌ . @firstarabesque I'm sorry that this cycle hasn't gone smoothly. FX for a BFP anyway! And I'm with you on the soul searching about IVF... This first failed IUI led to that convo between MH and I this weekend. It's a lot to think about. Sending you lots of hugs.

Hello!  I'm on cd 9 for IUI#5. My husband is not okay with IVF so we are pushing forward with the six IUIs that insurance will pay for. I feel super lucky to have coverage and I'm just really really hoping that one of these last two IUIs will work. After that, I'm not sure what to do - we are definitely willing to pay out of pocket but if the first six IUIs didn't work, what are the chances any future ones would? Anyway I go in tomorrow for my cd10 ultrasound to see what's going on. They increased all my medicines so here's hoping I have a few follicles (but not *too* many). I don't see too many success stories from IUIs 5 or 6, but I'm hoping that's because most people move on after 3 or 4 :(

@firstarabesque - I feel you 1000% on the just being tired of this whole process. I don't blame you with bailing on your IUI. And if your husbands counts are fine, TI has almost the same success rates as IUI anyway. As for your trigger shot - I have this problem where my LH surges before trigger every single time, and they always have me take the HCG shot anyway. I think it's to ensure you ovulate all mature eggs (where you would naturally only ovulate one)... you said you have one follicle so I'm not sure it matters, but it definitely can't hurt.

    QOTW:

Most of my pet peeves have already been mentioned so here is a really random one - I don't like names that are verbs. (Chase, Stone, Chuck, Will, Bill, Skip, Bob, Rob, Chip, etc.)

OH I just thought of more - when people tell me to smile. I HATE that. Or along the same lines, when people tell me that I look really tired. They seem to think they're just acting concerned, but to me it feels like they're just telling me I look like crap. I usually reply that I guess I should have worn more make-up.

@firstarabesque I missed your post somehow, but that's funny that you and others have been reading it as Band M14! It didn't occur to me when I made it that that would be the obvious way to read it... I have zero musical talent though (I can dance to it, but I can't create it haha), so definitely not a band member!

And thanks for the support, if we get to do an IUI this cycle and it doesn't work out then I might take a month off. It just makes it harder that I only have one open tube...I feel like I can't skip a month if I have follicles on the good side, because I might be forced to skip the next cycle too if I don't have any on the left. We'll see how my mid-cycle goes next week.

Am I too late to be added to the 2ww group?

IUI #1 on Friday, and already going a bit (a lot) crazy wondering. Good luck to all in the same boat!

@BlueFairy5 - Thanks!! Good luck to you during your 2ww!!

Went back today for CD10 monitoring. Only had one follicle measuring 15cm, so back to the doctors on Friday to see if it got bigger. Finger crossed for IUI #3 this weekend!

@murrt - my RE says he likes to see 7 or 8 million motile sperm for IUIs. He showed us this chart with % success on the vertical and # of motile sperm on the horizontal, and the line basically plateaued between 8 and 9 million. Meaning having more than 8 or 9 million only increases your chances a little bit. So bottom line - according to my RE, with 8.4 million motile you have plenty of sperm to optimize your chances!

I just finished my second round of Clomid.  I go in Monday for my cd12 scan.  I'm nervous because of my work schedule next week.  Last month I triggered on cd13 and did IUI days 14 and 15.  The RE's office said that I'll probably be along the same lines this month (although nothing is guaranteed until my scan on Monday).  Which, if that is the case, means i'll be working on my first IUI day and will only be able to do IUI day 2, and I am not sure if that will be ok with my REs office.  Hoping this isn't a wasted month.

    GL to everyone this month!!

@bluefairy5, thanks!  That is what I was concerned about.  Since this is only my 2nd round, I didn't know how it would work if I could only do one IUI instead of 2.  I ended up getting a girl from night shift to stay late for me wednesday morning if needed.  We will see what my scan shows Monday and go fro there.  Thanks again!! :)
