When is your first ultrasound?

I'll have my first ultrasound December 26th at 9 weeks.  It would have been a week sooner, but we had some scheduling difficulties.

Mine won't be until I'm 11 weeks, that's the first open spot.

I go on December 15th for my first ultrasound, I'll be 7 weeks and a few days (estimating)

I had a very early one due to right sided pain but my real ultra sound (non vaginal) will be 13 weeks on 22/12. I'm so excited and scared at the same time!

It's true! The number of ultrasounds will depend on you and your provider. I plan to have 1 around week 18-20 to find out the gender of our baby. Other than that, I don't plan to have another...unless it becomes medically necessary, of course!

My midwife used the Doppler today to listen to the heartbeat.

I will say I am very excited to see my baby on that screen. I've been googling pictures of ultrasounds for the week I'm at throughout my pregnancy thus far. It's neat to envision what my baby looks like during the different stages!

I had mine at 9 weeks a week and a half ago! Seems like forever ago and I want to go again! I am not doing the 12 week scan because I'm not getting testing done. I really want to see my baby again have to wait for the 20 week scan. Boo....

This is my first time getting pregnant. I went to my regular doctor today and got a referral to see an OB/GYN. I'm 27 and had never gone to an OB/GYN before besides getting a pap smear done at a health center like Planned Parenthood. My appointment is on 12/22 which puts me at the 10 week mark. When I made the appointment, the secretary didn't tell me I was going to get an ultrasound, so I asked if I could get one then... not sure if it will actually happen. My regular doctor also requested that I get blood work done, which I did today.
