Our final names, does anyone have any negative associations with them?

We have picked our final girl and boy names. I love them both but wanna hear if anyone has any negative associations or weird nicknames or anything. I work for CPS and constantly see horrible names. I just wanna make sure nothing strange jumps out when you read them:)

Girl: Thea Simone

Boy: Emmett Gray

I think it only matter if you personally have a negative association with them, not us. Unless it's something universal like Adolf. They look good to me

I guess I am asking if they look funny (example: like there could be a bad nickname or bad initials or anything). Our last name starts with an L. I grew up with NAD as my initials and got teased all of the time. My husband's name is also hilarious because of our last name, the opposite of Greater.

They are both nice names. As long as you don't have any negative associations with them, I say go for it, nothing really wrong with either one.

How do you pronounce Thea? Is it ThEE ah or they ah? Or neither?

Love love the girl name. Not a huge fan of Emmett but I think Gray is fun hip middle name.

Emmett is fine, just nms and I think gray sounds very hipster.

Mostly Thea though. H and I have it high on our list as well if we chose it she would be a Thea Kimberly. Thea Simone is just georgous.

There's an Emmett on Switched at Birth and that's how I fell in love with the name! Never met anyone named Enmett though.

Gray is really popular right now and will continue to be because of 50 shades of gray. If it weren't for that book id probably like it.

I like Simone better than Thea, but I think Thea Simone is very pretty.

I have always loved Emmett.

LOL I can assure you there are plenty of bad people with every name you could possibly choose. The important thing is that you and your husband don't have a negative association, not rather internet strangers do. 

I like both of your choices. I prefer Thea as a nickname to Theodora, Dorothea, etc. and prefer Thora as a similar stand alone name. I love Emmett. I don't like Gray unless there is some special meaning to you.

You're only 15 weeks, you have so much time to change your mind. There is no rush! I personally could never name a baby before meeting them so I just don't get this even though I know many people do it

i think you're good! emmett gray personally makes me thing of twilight and 50 shades, but i'm sure i'm in the minority there
