I actually really like these as middle name ideas, even though my only connection to Lithuania is that my grandfather immigrated from there. I just like the idea of my girl having the same name as a goddess - ooh la la.

"movie" eh?    i would never ever use it, being a poisonous plant in the nightshade family AND sounding *just a little* on the pretentious side, but it sounds so pretty!  lol

I suppose if I had to choose one, Isla for a girl.  

The name isn't out there or anything, I would just be afraid of her having to correct people on the spelling and the pronunciation of her name all of her life like I have to.

When I was a child, I named one of my teddy bears Aloysius. Luckily I never had to spell it.


I always really loved the name Athena.

If I could get away with it, I'd totally name my daughter katniss! Lol I'm a huge hunger games fan. I also would consider some of the district 1 names like "glimmer" or something these are guilty pleasure names
The name for a boy that was strongly vetoed by husband and family is: Wendell.... I don't care what anyone says, I'll always hold a place in my heart for that name! Haha,

@Lanatir I really like Joachim. I had a huge crush on a Swedish boy in kindergarten named Joachim, but I would feel silly naming my completely non-Swedish kid that. Joachin is nice, too...
