I'm out.. But some advice to the new moms

Sadly I am not going to be with you ladies for July of 2015. Chemical pregnancy (conception but no implantation). But hubby and I are ok with this. God has a plan and maybe in a couple months we will be with another board and our son will one day be a big brother.
But for the new moms let me pass along some advice.
1- Dr Google is not your friend. Please stay away especially if you freak out easily. Not every cramp, hiccup and sneeze is a sign of early labor. Google always seems to start with the worst case scenario.
2- having a birth plan is great but try to stay away from thoughts of "I will only" or "I will never". Many moms who wanted med free or drugs had to reverse their decision unexpectantly. Do not be so rigid in your plan that you are crushed if it doesn't go your way. All that matters is a healthy baby. And if you a really don't want mom or MIL in the room then ask your nurse to be the bad guy. Don't worry they will.
3- breast feeding is great and so is formula. Do whatever works best for you and your family. Frick off to anyone who makes you feel bad. Oh and for the breast feeding moms, don't fear nursing in public. You see more breast in a Victoria secret ad in a mall window. If they don't want to see you nurse your child tell them to look away. For the formula moms, it's not poison so don't feel guilty for using it.
4- and closest to home, for the plus size moms. Take the monthly photos even if you feel fat or think that you don't look good. I didn't do it last time and I regret that I only have a couple photos while pregnant and they were towards the end .
And I'll just add that while i am sad I won't be a part of this group I still pray that you all have a happy and healthy 9 months.
