will Hcg levels always be higher with twins?

My first apt. Was at 4weeks 6 days...they found two sacs...my hcg was 515 and progesterone 29.7...labs were repeated at 5.1 and hcg was 904.5. They were repeated on 5.3 and hcg was 1974...are these levels good? Hoping these twins stick. Next ultrasound 12/3/14...fingers crossed!

Do you already know you are having twins? They can be higher with twins, but they can also be the same as a singleton.

They're looking for your betas to double every 48 hours. I'm not really sure about progesterone levels, but your betas look fine.

My numbers were about the same as yours & we only have 1. They vary alot. Try not to worry.

The ultrasound showed 2 seperate gestational sacs, but it was too early to see anything else.

We're having fraternal twins, heard two heartbeats on the 17th. Hcg was tripling every other day and progesterone was +80. They told me my numbers looked like twins but that with a single it could be high, and it varies for everyone! Good luck!!
