Umbilical vein varix

My baby has been diagnosed with an umbilical vein varix on ultrasound. 2 weeks later it had grown by 2 mm. I go to maternal fetal medicine physician on Monday. Apparently, this condition is rare. Has anyone else been diagnosed with this? If so, did it change anything or did they just monitor the growth of the varix? Thanks in advance for any information:-)

No I haven't but whatever you do, don't google it. Stick to what your doctors say and if they don't insist on closer monitoring seek a second opinion! Best wishes for you and he bub ! Xo
