AW: new RE

So I had my first appointment with my new RE today (changing providers due to move) and I really like him! He was totally no nonsense and discussed data/facts with me which I love. He had all my old records so I don't have to repeat the testing (yes!!). On the transvaginal ultrasound my lining is normal for the follicular phase (5 mm) and I have 12 small follies he can see on the right and 10 he can see on the left. No cysts. He repeated my TSH, prolactin, testosterone, fasting glucose, FSH, LH, progesterone and estradiol and left me a message this evening that TSH, prolactin, glucose, testosterone all normal. Progesterone/estradiol consistent with pre-O/follicular stage. I'm going to ask for the exact numbers tomorrow. The one thing my other RE hadn't check was AMH, so we checked that today, but he thinks it is going to be fine since I have a good number of follies.

So... I'm cleared to burn the bench!!!

He also feels like the plan going forward is going to be Clomid/IUI. Interestingly, since my lining is normal thickness, he doesn't feel like I have to induce AF with Provera prior to proceeding with this cycle. (I actually hadn't heard of this before, but he had several good sources).

Anyway, looks like I'm back on the proverbial horse
