RECALL ALERT | Today Graco announced a recall of eleven strollers with a manufacture date from August 1, 2000 to September 25, 2014. The folding hinge on the sides of the stroller can pinch fingers, posing a laceration or amputation hazard to a child. The recall was issued after Graco received eleven reports of finger injuries, which include six reports of fingertip amputation, four reports of partial-fingertip amputation, and one finger laceration. The recall affects eleven Graco Children’s Products stroller products: Aspen, Breeze, Capri, Cirrus, Glider, Kite, LiteRider, Sierra, Solara, Sterling, and TravelMate Model Strollers and Travel Systems. Approximately 4.7 million consumers purchased the strollers in the United States, about 202,000 in Canada, and about 10,300 in Mexico.
