Ramzi theory

Anyone have any guesses for gender? Baby measures at 7wk1d in this ultrasound. It was an abdominal ultrasound not vaginal.

Ramzi theory doesn't have any validity to it because the placenta has yet to form.

According to Ramzi I think that's boy, but I think there's a lot of other factors that come into play when you're guessing that way. I personally don't see any harm in doing this for fun. I've definitely been comparing my daughter's ultrasound to this one, but don't rush out any buy any blue yet!

Then don't comment on it. I'm sure this isn't the first old wives tale post we'll see and it definitely won't be the last. Like I said... you don't have to run out and buy blue or pink or whatever, but it's entertaining to see which was right. Same as the gender chart and the wedding ring thing and the cravings and symptoms...

I didn't realize we were all scientists here. Let's face it... if she was looking for scientific answers do you think the bump would be her first stop? This board is becoming flame fest. I'm not trying to start anything with you @bosco213... I like you. You've offered good advice to me in the past. I think we were among the first on this board.... but there's nothing wrong with a little fun ONCE IN A WHILE!

Definitely a kitten. A tuxedo kitten to be exact. Whether it is a boy or girl kitten I do not know.

I think 7 weeks along is a little early to start having expectations for what sex my baby will be when they are born

Wow I have seen many posts similar to this one and thought I would get fun feedback. I do realize baby gender is not know at this point and it was actually just a fun guess. I had heard about the Ramzi theory but didn't know how it works. I don't understand how some people can be so terribly negative and rude. I won't be buying anything gender related until my doctor tells me and I do realize even that can change if they guessed wrong. This is an exciting time for many people in the beginning and in my case very few people know. I am hurt to see such negativity by such a harmless post.

On THIS site?? I've never seen a "Any guesses on my u/s??" post get "fun" feedback on TB.

If you want "fun feedback" on this BS, move on over to Baby Center  or Baby Gaga. We don't do pseudoscience here.

Also you don't know how the theory works?. Then why even ask us to guess using that theory? Why not just "guess what sex my baby is"?

I just can't. The more I read, the more questions I have.

FYI, I don't think you know what gender really means.

They're all "poppycock" until you get the ultrasound, but if you take this for what it's worth- harmless fun- then who cares?! She's not going to decorate her nursery based on an answer to this. Everyone take a deep breath!

What the fuck does this even mean? Not wanting strangers to place a 50/50 guess on the sex of my child means we're not excited? Go to Babycenter. You won't like it here.

The problem with some "harmless fun" posts though, as the wise GM/WCIBN once said, is that it perpetuates myth.

I really wasn't expecting the responses I got. New to the group and this is one of my first posts. I apologize for posting another "guess baby gender" posts I will stick to real questions. I do appreciate the research some posted about Ramzi theory have only recently heard about it and wasn't sure what others thought.
