Does anyone have any opinions either way on where to deliver? Also recommendations for OB/GYN or Midwives? Any nurses that work in L&D in those hospitals on here? We moved to Centennial area recently and just looking for options :-)
I went with South Metro OB/GYN and loved them. You can stick with one doctor or rotate through them and because whoever is on-call will deliver your baby, I chose to rotate through them. I loved every single one of them. They were all compassionate and spent all the time necessary to educate you and answer your questions. They deliver at both Skyridge and Swedish. I had my baby at Swedish and absolutely loved the experience. So did my husband as they give the husband a free dinner and also access to an eating area for a warm breakfast and snacks so they don't have to go looking for fast food or use the vending machine.
I had delivered previously at Lutheran which has a state of the art maternity ward and my experience was just as good at Swedish. I have heard that Skyridge is very popular right now because of how new it is but the problem with that is that sometimes they are short in rooms so you have to labor for awhile in the hallway while a room opens up.
If you are not completely sure on either, I suggest gong on a tour of both hospitals.
