I've been real mature and non confrontational about my dog situation.  I've asked ex for the # of the people who supposedly have him and he isn't giving it to me.  I am seriously considering taking something of his that he cherishes or would be pissed over losing.  He has nothing that would compare to my loss of Noah but I still want him to know what it feels like to lose something that is "important" to him.

DH was out this week for work and I was doing something with the kids that I can't even remember at this point, but I do remember thinking, ooh, I never have anything for FFFC but this would be a good one.

And here it is Friday, and I can't remember it.  Boo.

This. Was thinking about it in the car either yesterday or the day before and completely forgot what it was.

(background) I looked into egg donation but don't weigh enough to do it. (confession) I'm a little relieved because the whole thing sounds scary.

I set up our Christmas tree last night. I usually do it the Friday after Thanksgiving, but we're busy with family that day. Used it as an excuse to set it up early. (My 3 year old is LOVING it!!)

Don't feel bad! There's nothing wrong with being committed to a job and focussing on it while you're there. This doesn't make you a "bad mom"

For me, staying focused at work allows to be focused on my family once I get home. In addition,I keep reminding myself that both of parents worked (a lot), but i never felt neglected and we have great relationships.

Just got back from the "Feast of Thanks" at the kids' DC.  I side-eyed every parent in my kid's class that was spoon feeding their kid.  What do they think the kids do when we aren't there?  Wait for the teacher to come and feed each of them?  Your kid is capable of feeding his or her self.

DH was in Boston three separate times this month. And LA, and now England for 3 days next week. Thanksgiving week. Wtf. I think I made him feel bad because I miss him so he told work no travel in December. I'm hoping that means no more than one trip.

So I was told I was mean at work. When I work really really hard to not say exactly what I am thinking. And I wondered if I should take some sensitivity training or something. Then I immediately dismissed it with "they need some toughen up training!"

I had 3 things to get done at work today.  I finished them before 10am.  I've spent the rest of my day on the internet either shopping or lurking TB.

I was eating cookies and my co-worker commented that they looked good.  I replied "I would offer you one but they are lactation cookies."  

I DID have lactation cookies earlier this week, but these particular cookies were not them...

Now that DS has become such a distracted nurser, taking 30 minutes to eat instead of 15, and likes to use me as a method of getting back to sleep at night when he wakes up 3-5 times, I've been liking breastfeeding less and less each week. I am so very sleepy.

@bullybutt, no judgement but are you and Ex back together? It sounds like you are, but you keep calling him your Ex so I'm confused. I would seriously lose it if someone did something to my pet. It's one thing to express concerns and talk about it with you, but a whole other can of worms do actually do something with your dog without your knowledge or consent.

Well, after DD was born we had been spending quite a bit of time as a "family" and he wanted it to remain that way so we thought we would try to work things out.  After the Noah (dog) ordeal it's quickly reverted back to the crap that it's predominantly been in the past.  We went to counseling today and he still wouldn't own up to the fact that he got rid of Noah and is playing dumb on where he's at.  The counselor called him out on it and told him that he needed to get his shit together.  Long story, short..  someone who could sit back and watch the turmoil that I went through and not show any kind of remorse/empathy can fuck right off.  I still don't know where Noah is or if he's safe.

I'm soooo tired I also forgot my FFFC.  I guess that's a confession of sorts.

This morning when I could barely tie my shoes, I told DH that tonight he's on baby duty because I have to work tomorrow and I can barely function as it is.

Totally unfair that sleep regression hit days after LO starts STTN.

A customer at work had her baby about 2 weeks ago. She has brought her baby in every day this week so her and her friends/other customers could ooh and ahhh over it. You're an idiot. They're all in their early 20s and so are some of the ladies on Parenting. I'm old so I have no excuse but I don't fangirl quite at their level. I just think Harry is a cutie.
