Goopy eye

Baby gal is 8 days old and has some white wet goop in her eye that keeps reappearing when we wipe with a warm washcloth. Any experience with this?

Its a clogged duct. Put a warm cloth on her eye(s) a few times a day. BM also helps. Good luck!

I agree with PPs. Warm washcloth and a shot of breast milk in the eye will clear that sucker up in no time!

Avery has it too. I put bm on it yesterday and its already better

It could be a clogged duct. But it could be an infection caused from a clogged duct. Call the dr, they may prescribe drops. But yes continue to wipe it away with a wet cloth and massage the tear duct
