So my DD has become a finger sucker, just her pointer finger and middle finger. Which is adorable to watch her do but since its gotten cold its really starting to chap her poor fingers. I don't know what to put on them that would be safe for her to then put pack in her mouth. I don't think lotion would be strong enough to moisturize them but I don't think hydrocortisone cream would be safe for her. I was thinking I could put something on them at night and then those mittens on her one hand and swaddle her at night? Any ideas?

I'd say coconut oil...  but that would probably be delicious and defeat the purpose :P

Coconut oil plus mitten is honestly what I'd try though!

Oh that's a good idea, I didn't even think of coconut oil. I'm already using it for her cradle cap so I'll just start bathing her in it lol. Is aquaphor a lotion?

I love aquaphor... For baby, and myself (put it on your feet with socks at night... So good).

Aquaphor is a miracle worker, but I think Coconut Oil would probably be your safest bet if she's gonna be putting her fingers right back into her mouth.
