Thanksgiving Menus

I'm compiling my recipes and working on my grocery lists right now, and I figure I'm probably not the only one. Anyone want to share their menus and recipes?

Here's what I have:

Turkey (duh)

Mac and Cheese (I'm trying Martha Stewart's recipe this year)

Sweet potato casserole WITH MARSHMALLOWS

Sauteed green beans

Stuffing (I use the Jimmy Dean recipe)

Pecan Pie Cheesecake

I need another vegetable and maybe another dessert.

ETA Also gravy and a citrus cranberry relish

I really want that honeycrisp sangria.  Maybe I'll make some if we end up going to my parents' house for Thanksgiving.

Wow everyone has such big menus. I envy those getting to be with family. 

It's just us three so not a huge spread:

Pumpkin Pie with Cool Whip (dh doesn't partake in the cool whip lol)

Someone here posted a crockpot green bean recipe last year that was delicious and now I can't find it. I think it was @DragonBlood13‌. But I might have made that up?

I'm jealous of these menus. We go to my aunts house and I'm supposed to bring the cheese and crackers. I'm thinking of making pico too. And maybe a cheese ball

@PeanutButterFox‌ I made Martha's recipe for mac n cheese for dinner this week. I thought it was terrible. The nutmeg gave the dish this sweet flavor that was gross, and I even used less nutmeg than the recipe called for. Also, it makes WAY too much cheese mixture, I had to boil another 1/2lb of pasta to use it all up. So then I had 3 casseroles of the stuff! I gave it away to a neighbor. I think I'm going to try the Pioneer Woman. She rarely lets me down.

We are going to DH's family--so no cooking here. There is usually about 30-35 people there! 

There typical menu is:

pepperoni cheese bread

shrimp cocktail

ham

lasagna

mashed potatoes

turkey

turkey breast

stuffing

different veggies

and about 15-20 desserts.

DD has made this easy pumpkin mousse recipe before. She served it with candied pecans instead of the gingerbread.

I think this was operator error.

I can cook from scratch, as well as follow directions. There was no operator error.

@alrightmeow....Ummmm...I may or may not be purchasing the crostini and goat cheese mac from a local, fabulous restaurant and passing it off as my own. 

The pie, well, that's another story. The recipe is for bars, but really, no reason it can't be in pie shape.
