I'm compiling my recipes and working on my grocery lists right now, and I figure I'm probably not the only one. Anyone want to share their menus and recipes?
Turkey
Stuffing
Corn pudding
Candied yams w/ apples and golden raisins
Mac n cheese
Collards or string beans
Turkey ham
Salmon teriyaki and ginger style
Gravy with giblets
Desserts are whatever guests bring.
We drink a peach tea punch and whatever liquor is in the pantry
Someone here posted a crockpot green bean recipe last year that was delicious and now I can't find it. I think it was @DragonBlood13. But I might have made that up?

You might be thinking me because I gave another green bean recipe recently, but it's baked. Sorry!
I'm jealous of these menus. We go to my aunts house and I'm supposed to bring the cheese and crackers. I'm thinking of making pico too. And maybe a cheese ball
@PeanutButterFox I made Martha's recipe for mac n cheese for dinner this week. I thought it was terrible. The nutmeg gave the dish this sweet flavor that was gross, and I even used less nutmeg than the recipe called for. Also, it makes WAY too much cheese mixture, I had to boil another 1/2lb of pasta to use it all up. So then I had 3 casseroles of the stuff! I gave it away to a neighbor. I think I'm going to try the Pioneer Woman. She rarely lets me down.

I think this was operator error.
I can cook from scratch, as well as follow directions. There was no operator error.
@alrightmeow....Ummmm...I may or may not be purchasing the crostini and goat cheese mac from a local, fabulous restaurant and passing it off as my own.
The pie, well, that's another story. The recipe is for bars, but really, no reason it can't be in pie shape.

Trying to decide on a other veggie side. I like collared greens but DH does not and I don't want to make a huge pot just for me.
I'm only responsible for desserts so I'm making:
PB Cup Cheesecake
Brownies w/ PB frosting (it is also my Mom's bday and this is what she wants instead of a cake)
Pumpkin Pie
Samoa Cheesecake, modified to be gluten free

It's only the 5 of us at home so not too much cooking. The fun is when SIL's family comes at night for dessert, drinks and Christmas Vacation.
