Help with my hair

alright ladies so since it's so quiet around here I thought I would get your advice. I am getting my hair cut and colored today and I was 99.99999% sure on what I was getting, but now I'm second guessing it. I have long dark brown hair and it's cut in layers. I want to get a trim and get it dyed a redish color...like pics.

I've never had red is it hard to keep dyed like this?

Any other suggestions. I want something dark for Winter. In the Summer I get high lights.

My appointment is at 2! Eeeeek!!

Red comes out so easy! I have long brown hair an get it colored a lotz i love the red on me but it is so hard to keep. The second picture may be easier for them to do since it is darker but be prepared that it won't look like the picture. Red also stains a lot so no matter what they do you will find red on your scalp. Also if you go red don't wash for a few days or else you will wash most of it out.

Thanks ladies!! I decided on an Ombré. Carmel color with ash blonde. I love it. I'll go red when I think I can keep up with it!
