How's baby Zoe doing this morning? How are you feeling/doing?

I'm doing & feeling well My headaches are gone, my blood pressure is nearly down to normal already and I'm still on a crazy adrenalin high (and feeling like I'm dreaming).  Exhausted, and worth every second of it.

Zoe is doing amazing! She's now maintaining her body temperature on her own and doesn't need the incubator, so she's been coming into my room. We just have to keep her really bundled up with blankets and hats. We are still struggling with the eating, but probably will be for a little bit as she learns to grasp it.  Eating (whether nursing or bottle) makes her super super exhausted. She tends to do a minute of either before dozing off and we have to keep doing tricks to wake her. Latching has been hard because she's lazy and just wants to sleep   She lost some ounces since yesterday, but that's normal.. and she gained back some grams after the last nursing session so we know she's getting some in and have avoided a feeding tube. Hopefully each session goes a little better.  

Otherwise, she's doing great! Really minor things that will just get better with some time. She'll have to stay here for a bit after I'm released until we know she's got the feeding down, but we hope not for very long. She needs WAKE UP vibes!

Hopefully she'll be home with you in the next few weeks, and hopefully the time will fly by!

Thanks for the update! Isn't it amazing how after being sick for so long, it just goes right away? Those headaches are the worst. I'm so happy you're feeling better

i love this!  it's pretty common for babies with jaundice to be sleepy...i had that issue with DS when he was born too.  just keep at it...it sounds like you're doing an awesome job!
