Had ER yesterday. Fert report today- 27R/24M/14F. I can't help but be concerned about our low Fert rate...that maybe this is an indication our embies won't grow well?? I won't know anything until Monday, when I show up for a *potential* transfer based on my E2 that day. I can't hardly stand not knowing what's going on with our embies for the next 4 days and not knowing if we will be doing a fresh transfer or not. It's going to be a LONG weekend.

Hi ladies. I'm sooo exhausted. I worked the night shift last night and I have 3 more still. The joys of being a hospital med lab tech lol! I was walking around funny my whole shift cuz my belly feels uncomfortable, and this is with me wearing loose yoga pants! Went in this morning. Nurse's estimate went up and she thinks we might get about 25 good follies out of the almost 40 total follies I have. I think we might trigger tomorrow. Possibly Saturday. I don't think ER will be any later then Monday, but I'm hoping Sunday (only cuz I'd miss less work). Nurse thinks the RE may want me to stimulate for another day or two at the most. I'm on the scheduling committee at work, I purposely put myself on the "lazy" benched in the lab I've warned my bosses I may be useless next week lol.

Congrats to all the ladies with BFPs!!! That's amazing. FX for everyone that's PUPO, including myself! Hugs to all that need them.
AFM, I'm still in the 2WW. Beta is on Tuesday. I broke down and did another HPT. It was negative, but I'm trying not to stress since it's still early. Like @RG1979, at least if I get a BFN during my beta, at least I'll be able to enjoy copious amounts of wine over Thanksgiving!
Hi ladies, so many updates from everyone. I mobile tonight so I'm just going to do a quick update and get back on tomorrow when I'm at my computer to comment on everyone's progress so far.
"Warning BFP mentioned"
So as you all know my beta numbers have started out scary low, first beta was done 8dp5dt beta #1 was 9, beta #2 45,5 (2 days later). Beta 3 today(46hrs later) was 174.5. They are all still really low especially compared to everyone else's numbers but my numbers are more than tripling so far so that's good news. I'm defiantly not out of the woods but I am a little realived to hear that my numbers are going up and I'm praying they continue, next beta is Nov 26th.

Hi Girls, things around here are stable. Just waiting for beta on Monday and feeling genuinely optimistic for a change! I am loving being PUPO I have another IVIg infusion tomorrow, so hopefully that goes smoothly. I'm just trying to take it easy over the next few days, and would love to extend that into the next 9 months. Only time will tell!
It must be because we are the "Turkeys" that we are getting such positive news! Congrats to the BFPs! Hugs to the BFNs! And extra wine for those of us who are canceled, awaiting the next step, or who are just feeling a bit down.
After feeling positive for so long, I've finally hit the "down". I know it is okay but we've decided we have to begin banking our eggs. This is going to be a lot of OOP expense for us but our doc is worried that in the future my egg reserve may not give us much of anything. Hubby (and this is a surprise to me) really wants to exhaust all possibilities before looking at other options.
So, if insurance comes in time- I'll be moving over to the Dec. Sugar Plums for our next cycle. If not, I'll head to January.... I don't think they have a name yet.
As a side note, last night we had our Thanksgiving dinner with our students at school. This year I'm finding it so hard to be thankful because the one thing I want is the one thing that isn't happening. And then I remembered the support and love I've received thus far and figure that I need to be VERY thankful for all that. It is still hard......
Sending love and hugs to those who need it. Do we have anyone up in upstate NY with the massive amounts of snow?

So, today is 7dp5dt for me and I finally broke down this morning and couldn't wait any longer to POAS. For the first time ever, there were two little pink lines! DH and I are still in shock and over the moon happy this morning! Hoping that it keeps getting darker over the next couple of days. I know we still have a long way to go from here (beta isn't scheduled until the 28th), but we are definitely enjoying it all for the moment. Thank you so much ladies for all of your support along the way! Hoping to hear lots of good news from the other PUPOs very soon!

I couldn't hold out and POAS this am. Saw the faintest of faint lines... almost so faint that I'm worried I'm forcing myself to see it. My husband saw it immediately though, so I might actually be pregnant!! Going to test again tomorrow am to see if I can get the line to darken up a bit. I've never seen any sort of line before this, so I guess it must be legit? I just find it hard to believe.....
FINALLY!!!!! I'm triggering tonight at 11 pm (of course that's exactly when my night shift starts) with ER on Sunday at 10:30 am! I'm not exactly sure when ET would be. They normally do 5 day transfers. But does ER count as Day 1, or is the next day Day 1? Silly question I know :P Either way, I'm not sure if I'm more excited or more nervous? I think excitement right now. Nervous probably as I get closer to Sunday! They do concious sedation and I've never been sedated before so I have no clue how I will react. DH says he's going to film me and ask me stupid questions (but promises not to make it viral lol). What a silly bum. But I love that bum

@carrieharry79 - Congrats to you, too!!! I am so excited for you!! That's so funny...we are on the same page all around! FX that your line keeps getting darker & darker!

AFM, I had ER yesterday and had 13 mature eggs. I am eagerly awaiting my fertility report later today. I'm not sure yet if I'll have a 3 or 5 day transfer.
QOTD: I love nuts, apples and sharp cheddar and pb and j rice cakes.
I got my day 5 report today. Most of my embryos were still in the cleaved stage, which means they haven't progressed since day 3. We have one grade 2 compacted embryo that they will watch to see if it makes it to blast tomorrow to be frozen. My nurse who called today said that I would get a phone call tomorrow around 10, but the nurse I talked to Wednesday said that I would get a call on day 5 and then they would email me the final freeze report either Saturday or Sunday. I'm not feeling very hopeful right now.

Congrats on your + results @carrieharry79 & @aggiejess2007. @SweetieShellieH I had mine @ 11:15 today. You'll be fine with the sedation. You'll be knocked out throughout the whole process, by the time you wake up you'll be back in the prep room. They didn't allow dh in for the actual procedure but maybe everyone does it different. Day one is the day after ER. As for my ER they were able to get 20 mature eggs & I'll get my report tomorrow between 12-3. I can't wait to see how many fertilized. I'm feeling really crampy & a lot of pressure now so I'm going to pop my first & hopefully last painkiller.
@aggiejess2007 Congratulations!! How exciting! Good luck with your beta next week!
@carrieharry79 Congratulations to you too! Two in a row! FX for even darker lines tomorrow!
@SweetieShellieH Good luck with ER! The day after ER is day 1. :-) You know, it's funny, I expected to have a hard time with the anesthesia, but I just woke up and was completely alert and normal (but sore).

Sorry for being MIA ladies. Been dealing with DH and him getting ill on the day of ET. As you all know he had colon/rectal cancer. He is cancer free but the complications after is what is making him ill. He had his 4th surgery on Thursday put in ICU on Friday and that is where I have been. Last Sunday I had ET.He insisted on us finishing what we started. They transferred two embies . I started to take progesterone shots and OMG they hurt!!!!! I am not even sure how to keep them from hurting :-S Beta test will be on Tuesday. PRAYING FOR A BFP!!!!!
Congrats to all of the BFP!!!! >:D< to all the BFN.
@mariana81 my prayers are with you @bunnybun4 sorry about your granny praying for you.
I freeze the ice pack my meds came packed with and I ice every night before shot. I am not kidding when I say I can't feel a thing. I know I am numb enough when I can't feel how cold the ice is. I move the pack over just enough to hit the non-iced skin. If it's freezing and painful, but not where I iced... I'm ready! Try it! I use that pack because it is one big block of ice. The ice packs that they sell don't do the trick. You could freeze water in a ziplock and it would probably work. It's the gel types that don't do as well, IMO.
PAIF
pregnant after round 2 of IVF. Transferred 2 embryos and (surprise!) was pregnant with triplets. Identicals passed at 8 and 10 weeks. Still have one healthy baby boy with EDD of July 30!
Make sure to freeze it into what would make a comfortable shape to sit on for a while. Meaning make sure it would lay flat along the spot you are trying to numb. I stick it on my pants and go about my business doing dishes or making dinner etc

I got my final freeze report and I am in complete shock. The compacted embryo that they were watching yesterday expanded and made it to blast today and was frozen. By some miracle, one of my embryos that was still in the cleaved stage yesterday, compacted and expanded and was also frozen this morning. We have 2 frozen expanded blasts! I had a feeling when I woke up this morning that our compacted embryo had made it, but never in my wildest dreams did I think that we would end up with 2 blasts to freeze. Assuming all goes well, we are planning a FET in January.

@ktabs I do exactly the same thing! I use the block that came with my meds and if DH can wipe an alcohol pad across and I don't feel it I know I'm good! I don't mind them so far. Is it normal for it to bleed at injection site?

"Forget all the reasons why it won't work and believe in the one reason why it will"
We go in tomorrow for a 3 day transfer, assuming any embryos make it, after 10 of our 13 eggs didn't fertilize yesterday. 2 were immature, 6 were not done with ICSI and all failed, and 2 of the ICSI ones failed. The nurse seriously said "now we know why you can't get pregnant!" and I wanted to cut a bitch for not reading my chart and seeing this is our third time to the "here is why you can't conceive" rodeo.
We will see what tomorrow brings. I am nervous and upset.
(possible TMI) uggghhhh ... I took Doxycycline about an hour ago, since they want me to take it the night before retrieval ... I just threw up I don't think my tummy likes this antibiotic. I'm hoping the hour it was in there was enough to get into my system

Hi all, I'm new to this forum. So excited to see the amount of BFPs on here! Congrats to all of you.
My thoughts and prayers with anyone who got a BFN, cancelled/delayed cycle, any other sort of worrisome news or stress.
I had my ER this past Thursday - 15 eggs/10 mature/5 fertilized and still going. Got the call today that we should make it to Day 5 and PGD which is exciting and super nerve wracking. Hoping to be PUPO for Thanksgiving!
@sweetshellieh doxy is the devil. I have to take it with food or it makes me sick. I'm lucky that my clinic prescribe Cipro for IVF, so much better. I found taking doxy with something blank like applesauce helped a lot.

((hugs)) @Twinkie0612
@MamaKakes611 I am in Buffalo, but luckily live north enough that we didn't get much. My parents and IL's have been snowed in though, the driving bans were lifted last night and this morning and people are getting out today.
Congrats to all the BFPs!!

PAIF/SAIF Welcome!
I have found heat to help me the most... I warm up the oil in my hand or armpit ~10min prior to injecting and then sit on a heating pad for 40min after! That seems to work for me!
