Welcome to the TTA Check in!! This is for anyone who is TTA (trying to avoid), no matter for how long. The check in will be weekly. If you are new, we are sorry you're here and we hope that your stay is short. We have a variety of wait times so please feel free to join. Post an intro and tell us why you are TTA and for how long. It can be waiting on the 1st AF, waiting months, waiting on labs, recovering from surgery, personal reasons, etc. You are more than welcome to join for any reason why you are TTA. Please let me know if you would like to be added or if your information below is incorrect. As the months come to an end, members will be removed. If your TTA has been extended, please let me know. Any updates from the week? I had my post-op check up on Monday. It looks like all remaining tissue is finally gone after the methergine! And spotting has seemed to stop

What was the high/low of the week? Highs- Hearing good news at my doctors appointment! We also got approved on the house we will be renting. DH gets the keys on Friday. Then he is coming home on Thanksgiving. Then we will be loading up the U-haul and heading to Minnesota!

Low- Realizing that yesterday would have been my first day in second trimester

Any TTA related frustrations? None at this time. Although, I'm sure I will become a lot more frustrated once DH and I live in the same state again.

Anything that you're looking forward to this week? My SIL and I are going to drink wine and do each other's hair on Friday (don't worry, we are both licensed cosmetologists). I'm going to try ombré with a bob, so FX that I don't end up looking like an asshole...

QOTW: what is your favorite thanksgiving dish?! I love them all! But my favorite is making sandwiches out of the thanksgiving leftovers. I love me some turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sandwiches!

Hi! Can I join? I've been TTA since my last MC Oct 16th. I have NO idea when I will start TTC again but I have an appointment with an RE for the first time Dec 17th. I am hoping to get some answers. 

Any updates from the week? Newbie here so no new updates

What was the high/low of the week? My high this week is continuing on with some positivity following my crappy EDD last week. I haven't had a low yet which is encouraging for me.

Any TTA related frustrations? Just the frustration of when MH and I HIO that we aren't TTC. I feel like we are wasting precious time by not trying. 

Anything that you're looking forward to this week? Looking forward to Friday!!

QOTW: what is your favorite thanksgiving dish? Hrm, I love ALL food but, and I know this is boring, but mashed taters. I know I can have them year round but there is just something about eating them during Thanksgiving that makes them even more better.

Any updates from the week? 
Forgive me if some of this is repeats. I lose track of my days and where I've update. If i remember correctly last check in I was in pretty depressed mood since DH lost his internship and was wanting to put off TTC even longer. Then, I realized I'm going to be graduating sooner than expected so DH confirmed that he wanted to TTC in Feb. Very very happy with that. It'll be 7 months since we lost Fenix and FXd I'll be pregnant before the anniversary of our loss. I'm trying not to let the obsessive planner in me take over but I'm failing pretty hard at that. 
What was the high/low of the week? 
 The high of the week I think was finding out that @megrae12 and I love nearby and making some plans to meet up. It'll be nice to finally meet someone IRL

I wouldn't say there was a really low low this week. I'm more perturbed that I still get phantom kicks. Either my mind is playing tricks on me or I'm just super sensitive to things moving through my digestive tract. Or both. It's really weird. For peace of mind I actually just POAS even though logically it would be absolutely impossible for me to be feeling movements - BCP, limited sex, only being 15 weeks since our loss. IDK why I did it, but I needed to for some reason. 
Any TTA related frustrations? 
Surprisingly, nope. I'm pretty content right now planning for the future. 

Anything that you're looking forward to this week? 
Meeting up with fellow bumpee Also, traveling for a very low key Thanksgiving dinner with my grandmother. So glad it's not going to be the usual big huge family gathering. 
QOTW: what is your favorite thanksgiving dish?

My aunt makes this super awesome cheesy squash casserole that is to die for. 

Probably the most fun one though is the family tradition of making oreo turkeys with hersheys kisses, candy corn, and chocolate frosting.

@forevermyfenix I know how you about wanting to plan, I am a project manager and it's so very hard for me to turn that part of my personality off in my personal life. Have fun meeting up with the fellow bumpee!

Hey @readinglove :-h This week has felt long, I am sure that the 3 day work week for me next week will feel like a month Hopefully your body is just fighting something off and you won't get sick

Hi @skategirl128‌! Thanks for the check in

 Any updates from the week? My betas came back at 54, which is good. I was hoping for 0, but as long as its dropping, that's all that matters. 

What was the high/low of the week? High: I have the day off today, so enjoying some time to myself today. Low: I'm getting sick, so that's not fun.

 Any TTA related frustrations? My only frustration is the waiting for my betas to get to 0, so I can actually feel like things are moving on. 

Anything that you're looking forward to this week? I'm looking forward to the weekend. DH is going deer hunting, so I'm having some girl time with my sister. We're going shopping and watching movies. 

 QOTW: what is your favorite thanksgiving dish? I love stuffing and green bean casserole

Thanks for the check in @skategirl128‌ . I'm just chugging along here, counting down the days until surgery. I'm pretty swamped at work, so it's helping the time go by- but these symptoms and TTA in general is bringing me down, when all I want is this all to be over to try for our rainbow. I've been benched for 9 out of the last 12 months, sigh.

What am I looking forward to- spending time at home and celebrating my birthday. Also I only work two school days next week
