  • Hiya @mflowers929‌
    How are you doing love?

I'm feeling pretty bummed right now as our list of attendees in this checkin has dwindled so much :(
I'm happy for the ladies who have moved on, but I'm bummed for the rest of us. So (((((hugs)))))) all around as we approach our dates.

@02girl - so since skiing is probably out, what else are you looking forward on your trip?

I'm looking forward to being in the mountains. It is a place that really rejuvenates my soul. Also, I'm looking forward to being off work. I'm going a little nutzo over my job and I need time to reevaluate things.

  • Sorry if the formatting is off on this. I'm postong from my phone.

I totally agree with you @02girl. I'm so happy for those that have moved on, but I too am jealous for those of us that are still here.

Not much to report, I guess its time for a 2ww? Not really getting my hopes up for anything, but that would be a pretty nice birthday present.

  • I definitely agree girls. It's hard to see all the graduations, no matter how happy we truly are for them.
I was talking with my adopted mom yesterday, showing her the drawings I made up for the costume I'm going to be working on. She asked me if I had stopped to think I might be pregnant before I could wear it. I looked at her and said "yeah, I did, but no use stopping my life in the meantime." I guess that's just how I'm trying to approach this whole thing. I'm going into my 6th cycle since the miscarriage and I still have another 6 before I can even think about trying to get help, so *shrug*

I'm doing alright. Been crazy working on my manuscript, trying to get it ready for beta reading. I guess I'll have to pick readers for it soon - MH started reading it, and after he's done, that's the next step.
Also, as mentioned, making plans for this costume. It's a very ambitious plan, involving a lot of extra little things that need to be bought/made in addition to the main dress.
Not much else. Plans for having a quiet Christmas, hanging out with friends. Not looking forward to having to sit out this cycle, but *sigh* stupid body is stupid.

  • 2mflowers929: Hi lady, thanks again for running the check in. I completely agree with @O2girl, it's so hard to see our group dwindling down. So happy for all the graduates, but incredibly hard to feel 'left behind' as we approach our EDDs. I think that's been part of the reason why I've been avoiding the board a little bit...kind of self-preservation in a way. Will probably start posting more after my EDD passes in a few weeks. @mflowers929: I'm sorry you have to sit out this cycle hun. I hope it passes quickly for you.
@O2girl: Big ((hugs)) back at you ladies. I hope you enjoy your time off. You deserve it!
@ Anselser: Will keep my FX for your in your 2ww!

AFM, just hanging out, trying to keep my mind off my EDD as much as possible, which means trying to keep my mind off my birthday. DH keeps bugging me about it, but I honestly don't want to celebrate because it will keep reminding me that I was supposed to get a baby as a present this year and I lost it. I was just hoping so hard that I'd have gotten pregnant before this due date..instead, I had time to lose another baby. Ugh, life just sucks.
Anyways, I'm excited for next week since I have a big work presentation on Monday and then taking the rest of the week off of work, which means getting to actually LIVE WITH MH for a week!!! YESSS!!!! It's the little things like living with your spouse that you really take for granted...

  • @MSU_Girl1202 - I definitely know that feeling. It's our anniversary today - 4 years. I should have been a month off my EDD, instead... nothing.
I told MH this morning that I just wish we had a crystal ball that would say "You will get pregnant at such and such a date". Then I could just STOP worrying about it and relax. Instead it's like I'm on high alert all the time, looking for signs and symptoms that aren't there =/
