Saline drops

My LO has cough and cold. The cough seems to have gone down but the cold is still here. We are brand new users of saline drops (started last night). We have used it 6-8 times already since morning today. It def seems to be helping her.
Are we overusing it? How much is enough?

I agree. If it's helping there's no reason not to use it. It's basically salt water. I may be wrong, but I don't think you can do any damage with it. It's not like afrin.
